Friendly helpful staff, clean facilities. Super location for airport!

Fiona who manages Alift is just the kindest, courageous and most special person. Fiona made my arrival in Tonga eaay and warm and she made sure I got to my next destination against the odds Even if you do not stay at Aloft go to the diner and meet Fiona and the other fabuloys staff.

Plane was around 10mins late on arrival we booked driver from hotel and was unable to contact hotel, driver came to airport but didn’t wait for us so we had to arrange our own transport, our booking stated breakfast included however no breakfast was prepared we left around 8am from the hotel the next morning noone was around, we had to walk to domestic airport as we had a flight to another island, the rooms we had below needed cleaning/upgrade the condition was not great rooms smelt quite musty/mouldy, shower room light flickered when turned on and bathroom/toilet doors didn’t shut/no locks, prob ok if you’re on a real budget, pizza place on front lawn good, staff were nice.

Fiona is very charming and helpful. She provides a very nice breakfast which is included in the price. We would book again.

Close to airport but not well maintained! Towels not clean sheets missing someone’s clothes in drawer ??

Wonderful stay. So handy coming in from a late night flight and having a free transfer to the guesthouse! Clean, spacious and comfortable. The host Fiona is lovely and made us breakfast and made us feel at home 😊 thank you!

Excellent place for a quick nights sleep before heading out the next day. Clean and relatively comfortable, but no frills. A good breakfast was a surprise.

Our 'deluxe' ensuited room was very basic. No TV, hot water, aircon or ceiling fan. Staff and breakfast were awesome. Our laundry was done for us which was a huge bonus. The location was good because it was within walking distance of restaurants and the town without being too noisy. The common areas were really good, particularly the huge upstairs verandah with comfy lounges.

We booked a Twin room with a Queen bed, Twin bed and private bathroom. We were given a Family room with Bunk beds, a single bed and had to share a bathroom. Total unacceptable. The only redeeming feature was the outstanding service provided by the manager.

Fiona (who runs Aloft Airport) was there to give us a warm welcome when we arrived which was lovely. She made sure we were comfortable and made us a packed breakfast to take with us to the domestic airport (a 2 minute walk) the next morning. A perfect stress free transition hotel when flying to Ha'pai or Vava'u

Aloft is a well positioned accommodation for travellers coming into Tongatapu. It's a nice, clean place, with sizeable rooms, cheap food, great complimentary breakfasts, and the best host we experienced in Tonga.

Fiona went above and beyond to help us! She organised a cheap, reliable and honest car rental service, the drove us into town, followed up on our flights with Real Tonga, and woke up early to make us breakfast. She's also lovely, and very caring, and let us hang out at Aloft on our final day in Tonga before our flight home.

Our hostess, Fiona, was very kind to pick us up at the airport at night and get us back to the airport early in the morning AND made us breakfast!

Fiona is an extremely welcoming host. The room was clean and comfortable. It is perfectly suited to transit visitors being directly opposite the domestic airport.

Across the road from the airport. Home away from home. Large house converted to rooms with ensuites. Basic but clean and staff are amazing. Good cooked breakfast.

Overall I enjoyed my stay at Aloft , the friendly staff made it worth while and felt at home right from day 1. Fiona and her staff made us welcome. I will visit them again in the near future.
