Excellent boutique hotel
Pros:

A very modern, clean and comfortable room. Loved the blinds which were automatic and the puffin glass between the shower and the bedroom. Staff were amazing, friendly and very accommodating. The café was fabulous in the lobby. Check out was at 12 noon, lovely to have that extra bit of time. The parking allowed us to leave the car in the underground garage safely with all our luggage for the whole of our last day which really helped.

Cons:

To be picky, the toilet was very low for an older person. We would have liked a fridge in the room and the desk and chair could have been removed for more space. We mentioned the fridge to someone working there and she said one could be sent to the room but we did not bother in the end. It was good to know we could have done this though. Parking is a bit pricey especially as we stayed in a different hotel with free parking at the beginning of our stay.

Some good points and some not so good.
Pros:

Staff were very helpful and the restaurant recommended was excellent.
Location suited us well

Cons:

Dirty windows
Over priced food. Nowhere else in five weeks has charged us for a second cup of coffee.
Quite noisy from traffic
Signage in basement car park was nonexistent and we had difficulty both on arrival and departure

Pros:

Location and Joan at the front desk who was so helpful and knowledgeable and a smile for everyone who passed in the lobby- watching the ships come in the harbour from our room were wonderful sights each day

Excellent downtown choice
Pros:

Excellent hotel in downtown, close to everything. Great views over the port, with comfortable, well lit rooms with blackout blinds. Restaurant or lobby cafe for breakfast, both good.

Cons:

Kettle available at reception unless your happy with a Clooney-machine! Lifts a bit slow to arrive!

Very enjoyable.
Pros:

I didn’t have breakfast at the hotel - only coffee. I liked the location and I liked how simple but sophisticated the rooms are. I also liked the security for the elevators and within the room. Loved the control panel!

Cons:

Dummy instructions for the heat in the shower would have been helpful - I just stumbled on how to get the hot water on.

Pros:

Location and view of the harbour

Cons:

On site Restaurant was closed on our arrival, there were very limited options for breakfast on Tuesday. Poor range of items at the desk for those coming in to the hotel later in the evening.

Pros:

It was very comfortable. Nice room, good coffee maker. Excellent 24 hour service desk - some staff very kind and helpful (nothing actually wrong with the others!). Clean, efficient.
