The beds were comfortable

Cons:

For the cost of a single night I would expect everything to be easy, we had a double room for my husband and 2 children. There was only 1 chair in the room so we had to sit on the beds or the floor. The pool is not heated which really surprised me so there was literally nothing else for the kids to do once we realised it was too cold for swimming. The 1 option for dining is not child friendly so we ended up back at the airport to find some food for dinner!

Quality hotel, friendly & professional staff & easy access to walk to Brisbane airport.

A great place to make you feel like you’re an important guest.
Pros:

From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel welcome by Hazel who completed my check in and told me about buffet breakfast option, how to use keys for lift and room, and adjusted the aircon temp to my preference. The room was spacious, with wonderfully comfortable bed and thoughtful complimentary additions including coffee machine and pods. Staff at the bar were also very courteous and helpful. The Apron was a bit pricey for me for dinner so I went next door to Cribb Island which was understandably busy and noisy, but the food options were good, well priced and tasty. The location was perfect for accessing an early breakfast function at The Ibis and chartered flight with a late return. I had room service Eggs Benedict the next morning and it was delivered quickly, hot and delicious. The 11am checkout is something I think all hotels should adopt. It made for a relaxed morning after a long day beforehand. When I checked out, the receptionist went outside and called the taxi waiting on the rank to come pick me up. It all made for a wonderful escape from the routine.

Cons:

It was a little pricey at $350pn but I just wish I had more free time to enjoy the room more.
