A fun location, half mile walk to Metro station, ethically diverse food and music around the corner
Pros:

The restaurant , bar and coffee corner were all very good- the service and food choices. We were made to feel at home.

Cons:

The desk needed more well trained people. The phone was rarely answered and so a trip to personally ask the question was a bummer- and then there was no one there most of the time.

Great to stay at hotel with a distinct character
Pros:

Originally a church. Wonderfully incorporated church pews and artifacts in design. Great lobby, really good food

The location was convenient and the decor was interesting

Cons:

The in room complimentary coffee options could be better. The check in staff was positioned directly behind a big screen and there are Opportunities to enhance warmth and engagement at check-in

Pros:

Fantastic building and design. Incredible restaurant and coffee shop and lobby. Great views and thoughtfully accommodated rooms. It’s genuinely a fantastic hotel.

Cons:

A couple minor things: (1) the bedding was lackluster; and (2) the front desk didn’t have certain toiletries, like makeup wipes.
