Great location snd architecture.

Great location in the Centre of the city, close to all restaurants!

Spectacular inside and out!

The client service was a nightmare all the way through. It took me 5 phone calls to book the rooms and then I never received the booking confirmation by email despite following up numerous times. After arriving my friends had to wait 3 days for the housekeeping to make the extra bed in the suite for their child to sleep on. The staff was not at all helpful. I would definitely never stay here again.

Excellent stay at the fourth hotel - great location, beautiful architecture and room was modern and clean

Honestly speaking we are shocked by what we had to experience during our stay.
We have payed a lot of money looking forward to a pleasant weekend in the hotel with our little daughter.
But already on arrival we came into a room which wasn’t cleaned properly and was prepared poorly.
We spoke to the personnel at the reception and were informed that there is no manager on duty and that the hotel is being sold with a lot of problems that are carried out on the back of the guests.
The breakfast was a catastrophe on all mornings. There was not enough personnel to even do the most necessary things like filling up the milk bottles or putting spoons on the buffet and refilling the coffee machine. The worst thing about this is that it happened independently of the number of guests present.
On the second day we came back to our room only to find out that it wasn’t cleaned.
In a hotel we expect our room to be cleaned though especially when you travel with a small child and we have experienced that in a lot of hotels before.
Back at the reception we got the information that this is NORMAL (?!). In your hotel the rooms only get cleaned at departure.
Not only did we get no information on that before but also this is not acceptable for us.
We pay money in a hotel to experience great service and enjoy a worry-free stay. We don’t pay money for what we have had to experience at this hotel.
Please come back to us with a response and also some suggestion for a compensation.

Prima locatie in een mooi historisch pand op de oude markt middenin het bruisende centrum van Leuven met winkels en tal van eetgelegenheden.

The switches are sophisticated but not all of them work.
The bathroom is nice design but it would be practical if there is something to hang your towel and cloth.
A choice out of 2 types of pillows (a bit softer and firm)would give more sleeping comport.

Les premières personnes qui nous ont accueillis parlaient uniquement l'anglais, ce n'était donc pas facile pour se faire comprendre. Elles allaient nous faire payer une deuxième fois l'hôtel. Heureusement, par la suite, nous avons eu une personne parlant le français. La 1ère chambre proposée nous semblait convenable jusqu'à ce qu'on entende des gouttes d'eau tomber au sol (fuites de la clim). Au départ, le responsable nous a dit que cela était juste un trop plein d'eau et que ce n'était pas grave. Mais, impossible de dormir avec un bruit constant de gouttes qui tombent au sol. De plus, une des prises du lit sortait du mur et une grosse trace de bisou au rouge à lèvre se voyait sur la vitre. Après un deuxième relevé à l'accueil, on nous a gentiment proposé une autre chambre en nous soulignant qu'il s'agissait d'une plus haute gamme car balcon et sans devoir ajouter de supplément... Mais, bien que spacieuse et jolie, la chambre n'était pas au top. Le rideau pendait, les vitres du balcon étaient sales (déjections d'oiseaux) et nous avons, à nouveau, retrouvé des traces d'eau et gouttes sur le plafond, juste au-dessus du lit, tout le long du système de la clim. De plus, cette fameuse clim fait un bruit sourd continu... Pas une nuit de tout repos comme nous l'espérions. Et, cela est bien dommage car l'architecture de cet hôtel est de toute beauté et le bâtiment est situé en plein centre. L'hôtel pourrait atteindre un 10/10 si tout cela était en ordre.

Het hotel is prima voor wat een hotel bedoeld is, en dat is slapen. Daar integen de bedden zijn niets. Twee éénpersoons tegen elkaar met daarop een topper niet te klein is en alle kanten op gaat. Ook schuiven de bedden snel uit elkaar.
Een airco zou ook niet misstaan.
Op de kamer gaan alle lichten en gordijnen via een miniscuul bedieningspaneeltje die erg onduidelijk is. Je hebt licht nodig om dat te bedienen. Maarja, als het donker is blijft het gissen welke van de knopjes wat is.
Al met al, qua ligging zeker super en qua doel slapen, voldoende. Maar praktisch is anders.

Breakfast options were limited. Bed was large but “saggy”. Changed room to one that had windows that would open in order to get some fresh.

La chambre était très bien, la literie très confortable.
Je trouve qu'il devrait y avoir une porte entre la chambre et la salle de bain ainsi qu'une paroi pour fermer la douche, risque de mouiller toute la salle de bain ...

Prachtige locatie om Leuven te verkennen. Mooi historisch pand. Enige minpunt is het dure parkeren ( 20 euro per dag).

I had previously spent 3 days in a cramped not very elegant hotel in Milano. To come to Hotel the Fourth was like dying and going to heaven. The room was so spacious and well designed. Great bathroom, sitting balcony to look over the courtyard. Large bed, nice desk and great coffee maker. It is in walking distance of the train station. I will never stay anywhere else when I come to Leuven.

Even though it’s hard to get to because it’s in a no car area, the hotel is beautiful and stylish. It’s next to the ornate city hall and many cafes and shops.
We had to park our rental car in a parking garage about five minutes walk away.
Price was reasonable for such a nice hotel.
