Not much
The hotel was awful, and I experienced issues from the very beginning of my stay. The day after I booked the hotel, they attempted to charge my card multiple times. The hotel later stated that this had been done accidentally. However, the charges appeared under a completely different and unfamiliar name, so I did not recognise them as being from the hotel. This caused a huge amount of hassle, as I had to freeze my credit card for security reasons. It was only after three separate transactions had been attempted that the hotel contacted me to resolve the payment issue.
Unfortunately, the problems did not stop there. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was extremely poor. The room was very unclean, and basic housekeeping standards were not met. The sheets and towels were not changed as expected, which was particularly disappointing and unacceptable.
The Wi-Fi was also extremely poor. The reception was unreliable, making it very difficult to use the internet during my stay.
The breakfast was another disappointment. The booking stated that breakfast was included, but when we went down for breakfast, only a limited selection of the advertised food was available. This was misleading and did not meet the expectations created when booking the hotel.
Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing. From the repeated unauthorised-looking card transactions and poor communication to the lack of cleanliness, inadequate housekeeping, unreliable Wi-Fi and disappointing breakfast, I would not recommend this hotel and do not feel that the service provided was worth the price paid options were included the other half you had to pay extra. The staff were not that nice. It was not a good experience from the start to the end I would not recommend this hotel.
