Great location and helpful staff
Breakfast good
Lovely spa
Only a couple of things..
Spa area is really nice, but let down as kids in the pool, noisy, so not really a relaxing setting . Would be great if there were a few adults only spa sessions.
Didn't like dogs in restaurant.
My room was warm clean and comfortable all that you want.
For a good night's sleep
Stuff friendly and helpful.
But unfortunately, my room was above the kitchens and could hear the extract fan very loudly in my room.
Receptionist was very friendly and apologetic. And was reassured that the fans would be off between 9.30 and 10 o'clock.
Which most of them was, but unfortunately, one was left on what was a loud.Whirly pitch sounds and kept me awake most of the night.
I booked dinner at the inside restaurant.
Where I ordered the briskit burger with a side of homemade onion rings. The brisket burger resembled more like pull pork and was barely hot, and The Onion rings was unedible as they were so hard. I was scared of breaking my teeth and no I don't have false. choppers
You had to book a time slot for the swimming pool.
The swimming pool itself is very lovely with lots of good facilities
But unfortunately, for the size of the swimming pool, too many people was letting it at the same time and could not swim without bumping into each other.
Fantastic view
Staff excellent
Could hear music from the restaurant early in morning and at night due to the speakers being in restaurant ceiling.
The noise woke the wife !!
She was not happy as we came for a rest.
Evening meal and breakfast as good as anywhere.
Service and staff very friendly and helpful.
Incredible views, well decorated rooms, phenomenal receptionist, super helpful and friendly staff throughout the hotel, amazing food and great cocktails, also lovely to see the brides and grooms taking photos on the sea balcony.
We loved it so much we booked a 2nd night whilst there!
There's also lovely scenic walks either left or right out of the property, with a choice of a beautiful quiet seaside town (with the best ice-cream I may have ever eaten) that has shops, cafes, restaurants and also a lovely walk along to some caves if you wanted to explore a little. Then there's a harbour with a lovely boat café, and also a beach within walking distance, we just couldn't get there due to a landslide, but from another viewpoint it looked lovely.
Can be noisy on the evenings due to the wedding guests leaving dogs in the hotel rooms alone, which caused them some distress and made them bark/cry, along with general drunken arrivals back to their rooms. It didn't detract from our stay though, just something to note as it is a busy venue full of people having a great time for their special day.
Parking can be quite tight to get into, especially if you're in a camper van like we were, but there's lots of it!
Excellent all round stay
NA
Location and the facilities were great. The service was fantastic. The breakfast was okay, The selection of food was great. The views were stunning.
Breakfast wise, The sausages were not cooked to our liking they were quite underdone with no colour, as were the , the bacon was the complete opposite And felt like it had been cooked for some time, couldn’t even get the fork into the bacon.
The other problem we had with our room was it was very noisy at the end of the evening when going to bed and also early in the morning from 630. I don’t know if this was due to re-stocking or taking deliveries but it definitely woke us up which was a shame.
Personnel super sympa, repas délicieux, chambre confortable, magnifique vue, piscine/espace spa moderne, etc.
Très bon rapport qualité prix!
Czystosc, widok z okna, wygodne lozka
Wow!! What a location! Hotel was beautiful, staff lovely, location fabulous!
The view was absolutely stunning.
Easy to park the truck.
Room was nice and clean.
Location lovely.
Pool area dirty.
Restaurant area had lots of old cobwebs.
Beach walk way was closed even though it was advertised as open on their Facebook page. This was very disappointing as the main reason we chose Sandy Cove.
