Lovely 3 night stay
Pros:

Great location opposite MRT. Nice neighbourhood easy to walk to lots of shops and restaurants. Comfy beds clean rooms.

Perfectly located with added bonus of a great rooftop pool
Pros:

Perfect location for access to all the sights - super close to MRT. Rooftop pool is fabulous.

Cons:

Rooms are pretty small but did know that when I booked so an observation not a complaint!

Pros:

I particularly liked the high-quality bed linen & comfy bed. Blackout curtains were efficient.
We had lunch in the restaurant on our first day. The food was fine but the service a little slow.

Towels were changed daily when they needn't have been.

Très bien situé, à 15mn de l’esplanade, du musée national, nombreux restos à proximité et du métro.
Personnel accueillant et professionnel.
Le buffet ptit dej est formidable !
Piscine sur le rooftop, vue superbe sur la city.

Ne è valsa la pena. Felici di avere scelto Oakwood Hotel.
Pros:

La posizione era perfetta. A due passi dalla metropolitana MRT Bencoolen. Molto vicina a zone vivaci e attrattive.

Cons:

Andava benissimo per nostre esigenze di coppia in viaggio per conoscere Singapore, la sua cultura e la città.

We would definitely consider staying at the hotel again.
Pros:

I like the convenient location, the friendly staff and the size of the room.

Cons:

I did not like the absence of a proper pick-up/drop-off point. It was not clear upon arrival where we should be dropped off. There can only be one car to pick-up/drop-off at any one time. Cars have to stop on the pedestrian crossing, which is an inconvenience and even annoyance for some pedestrians.

I also did not like the absence of a proper lounge area. It is now occupied by dining tables and chairs, which gives the hotel lobby a low-end vibe. I guess that the original lounge area has been converted to a dining area because the restaurant area is under-capacity, but it makes the hotel look low end. The makeshift separation between the restaurant and the lobby also adds to the low-end vibe.

This is all a pity because the hotel is really nice - once you walk past the main lobby onto the lift lobby.

Enjoyed our stay, close to Underground train station which was easy to use and very cheap.
Pros:

Rooms were good value for money. Loved roof top pool
Buffet Breakfast had a good selection and at a good price.
Location of the hotel was perfect and central to most tourist attractions.
Close to underground Rail which was a bonus and so easy to use.
Raffles just a short walk away.
