Holiday Inn Express & Suites- Birmingham North-Fultondale by IHG

My family and I were in town for graduation and we absolutely loved the hotel. Everything was wonderful!!!! Check in was very easy and quick, room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great, good variety and nice seating area. We needed extra towels and bedding for the sofa bed and within 2 minutes of speaking with the housekeeping supervisor, we had exactly what we needed. We had an overall great experience and I would definitely recommend this hotel. 10/10

Like most Holiday Inn Express hotels, this one is very contemporary, clean, and has a great breakfast. We love the cinnamon rolls! Great coffee. Hard flooring instead of carpet in the room is nice. Good mattress and other room furnishings. Walk-in shower good, but water pressure was a bit low. Water was soft.

Great stay!

Loved the dining and shopping options around the area. My room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. The only drawback is the pool area had no clean towels.

Everything was very clean and appeared to be recently remodeled. Beds were comfortable.

Our stay was nice! The hotel and property are clean. The check-in attendant wasn't super friendly but that's fine. Location was perfect and we felt safe. The room was very clean-even cleaned the tub for my kid's bath and had no additional dirt on my cloth. There were not enough towels in my room although I added all guests at check-in. The guide for the tv did not match the channels but we figured it out. The only major negative was breakfast. The attendant seemed very overwhelmed but also was on his phone when there were clear needs in the breakfast room. The pancake machine was consistently empty, the trash was overflowing. The eggs were burnt and stuck to the pan and from Friday-Sunday there was the same sticky spot on a table-which means no one cleaned the tables.

If using some map app it will default to the rear entrance of the property and can be frustrating. Turn left at the second light.

I loved that our suite was totally clean and smelled clean (which is a must for me). The bed was very comfortable and the staff were friendly. I will be visiting again and will recommend others there. Thank you from a very satisfied customer!

Excellent breakfast. Facility being remodeled so some construction. Room is beautiful.

Room still smelled like smoke. Painters were sanding the walls in eating area during breakfast. There was compound dust in all the food and coffee.

The floor I was on was going through renovations. You could smell the paint and wood. The ice machine was completely surrounded by supplies. There was a roach in the RR. Just one that I saw, but 1 too many. They did not offer a decrease in rate and withheld $100 for incidentals. smh

Doing work on the hotel or it could get a 5 star.
