The property was clean and organized.

The food was great. The server/chef were amazing. Phillip the chef was also our waiter at one point, plus our chef. Craving the grilled zucchini bread! "Green" was great too. Helpful and attentive.
Desk staff were superior.
We didnt use valet but they were always at the door.
It was close to everything we wanted to see.
My husband wanted better water pressure.
This was a very nice hotel and close to everything.
The restaurant hours was not convenient for the guest. This was Christmas day and we had to walk to a different hotel and got lunch and drinks since the hotel bar was not open before the football game that evening.
Beautiful property
Extremely clean and everyone are very friendly

Goede locatie, ruime kamer
Rooms are spacious and comfortable
Valet said it was open at 7am. We left at 8:30 and requested our vehicle. No valet stand and it took 30 min to get my truck.
The location was convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Downtown location
The room was not clean, shampoo and gel were missing, the coffee machine was not cleaned, etc. The facilities are quite old, the walls in the room are patched rather than painted The hotel does not have parking; a valet parking is offered at the door for 40 USD the night. My king bed room was unilaterally and surprisingly changed to a room with 2 queen beds with no price change - claiming that it was more expensive because it was in a corner. Traveling alone for work this was not appreciated, a lower rate in a smaller room would have been preferred, but was not offered despite requested. In the very close vicinity there are much better choices at a comparable cost.
We selected this place because my daughter was attending the Chappel Roan concert and we wanted something within walking distance and while the price was not cheap, it was the most reasonable in the area. It did not start well as check-in as at 4 PM, but we wanted to get in sooner so she could change into her outfit. We drove in from the Chicago area and called around 2 PM saying we were ahead of schedule and asked if a room could be ready by 2:30 and the lady on the phone said yes. We then arrived and went to the counter and mentioned we were the ones that called and the man at the desk said, ‘nobody called’ and ‘are you sure you are at the right location?.’ I then started to doubt myself, but then remembered that the lady asked for our reservation number and confirmed it, and then he said it doesn’t matter, and we could still check-in.
Check-in issues aside, once we got to the room, we loved it from as they renovated a 1930’s train building. The room was spacious and had very modern touches such as an upscale shower. There was a refrigerator in the room but not a microwave. Usually the hallways are an afterthought, but even those were really well done and had nice artwork as well. We did not get a chance to use it, but the fitness center looked above average from a regular hotel, and they did not have a pool. It should be noted that there is no self-parking, and it is valet only, but we did not mind as they came out with the car quickly when we needed it. They also had a restaurant for breakfast and the menu looked fine, but there was nobody there when we left at 10 AM on Sunday, so it was not a good sign considering the hotel was full.
Overall, we loved the hotel itself and if we had to stay in downtown Kansas City again, we would stay here.
Place was great. Parking is expensive.
