Breakfast was basic, but sufficient. Server Ana was very attentive. We stayed several nights and missed her when she had a day off.
The pool was being maintained when we first arrived.

This was an ok stay. The pool is nice looking but under a large tree so cool and fills with leaves. It is about a block away from the beach and once we found the dirt road that goes along the beach that was a nice walk and very busy at sunset. We had a dinner at the restaurant and it was good. There is an extensive menu.
We had a family room, with 3 people staying but they did not make the bed for our 3rd person or have towels for 3 people until we asked. They did give a free drink as compensation. They closed the gate to the parking area well before they said they would, but we were able to get someone to come open it. The pool chairs are worn. Breakfast was o.k. A fairly typical Tipico or Americano breakfast which was fine, but the worst of our trip. They had no milk for the coffee and plantains were very different. We had more ants around the room than in any other place in Costa Rico even though the room seemed clean. We didn't like this beach or town as much as Samara or Tamarindo.

The hotel was located reasonably close to the town centre, the beach and main amenities.
Parking on site. There was a bar in the hotel. Room had working air con, fridge and safe box.
From the moment we arrived, we noticed the lack of organisation. The lady who did our check-in did not have much information and every time we asked something, her reply was "The person who does the check-ins is not in today but I will ask tomorrow" (we never saw her again). The room initially assigned to us had non-working air con and the bathroom was not in good conditions (sink was not well attached to the wall) and did not give the impression of it being very clean. We told them about this and we were given another room, which had working air con.
Additionally, we requested room cleaning one of the days and nobody showed up. When we asked staff about it, they just said that the cleaning lady did not show up to work that day.
The whole complex seemed under maintenance and you could see workers around at all times (this includes the noise and dirt).
Breakfast was a disappointment as they only have 2 options: "rice, beans and fried plantain" or "1 egg, toast, ham and hashbrown" which was just not up to what we expected. Also, one day they didn't have milk to make a coffee.
Overall, we felt very disappointed with this place and we would certainly not come here again.
Amazing food, we enjoyed supper there. Highly recommend Pollo Corden Blue!!!!
Everything was perfect
Qualidade do lençol da cama, disponibilidade de toalhas para banho de piscina, o café da manhã muito bom. O quarto é todo reformado e é excepcional tanto pelo tamanho, como pelo conforto que oferece. O piso chama a atenção pela beleza. O banheiro é confortável e tem uma ducha maravilhosa. Também chama a atenção o fato do papel higiênio ser de folha dupla ou tripla, o que não é muito comum. A equipe de funcionários também é muito gentil e cordial.
O preço da diária é um pouco mais caro.
Location was quiet and secure. Our family of 4 got 2 rooms. Air conditioning and shower worked great. Garden view was lovely. We enjoyed a happy hour drink at the bar in the evening and a satisfying breakfast in the morning. Sunday morning market set up in the lot next to the hotel was the best! Beautiful items by many vendors. We wish we would have purchased more but it was our first night. Darn!
