It was very cozy and I loved the setup.

the room was very interesting, someone put alot of thought into the design, very cool
no place to eat
Cozy cottage
Shower doesn’t drain well
Pitch of shower floor pitches to wall and you are standing in a puddle while showering
Other than that place is lovely
A beautiful and unique place to stay!
Great location — close to the lake and the park.
This hotel feels seriously overrated. The high rating seems to come mostly from the fact that they host weddings and the property sits inside a park — people are probably reviewing it while still riding that “happy event” vibe. But as an actual place to stay, it was a disappointment.
We booked a cottage that I chose very carefully. Because we were arriving late, I tried to notify the hotel earlier in the day — I called, emailed, and messaged through Booking.com using the contact details provided. They responded pretty late and they told us they had upgraded us to the Finger Lakes Cottage, but honestly, it felt like a questionable “upgrade” at best. Arriving in the dark, it was extremely difficult to find the correct cottage. There’s basically no signage or clear navigation around the property.
Inside, the cottage felt outdated — the décor looks like something frozen in the 70s. Half the lights didn’t work. The place also wasn’t clean: dust everywhere, and we even found empty bottles under the bed. There’s a coffee maker, but no cups at all, so you can’t even make coffee properly.
The worst part, though, was the unbearable sewage smell coming from the kitchenette sink. It seems like staff already know about it because there were odor absorbers placed around, but they did nothing. Sleeping with that smell was really hard.
Very cozy and whimsical
The shower is in disrepair
Liked the location. Nice and private. Close to Ithaca but not right in the town. Great if you want to enjoy a remote cabin experience without the distance from a downtown experience
There was soap in the shower from the previous customers. Also the bidet on the toilet did not work.
The accommodation is located in an idyllic place. We even bumped into some 🦌 when leaving for dinner.
They could work on the insulation between the units.
Loved Balloon suite, decor, grounds, quick response from staff.
Water pressure in shower
Es ist kein Hotel sondern ein Apartment.
Für die Art und Lage ist es einfach viel zu teuer.
The venue is lovely. Beds were very comfortable.
We did not have an event, we just stayed in a room on a no-event day. There was no host on site, the sense was like wandering around in an abandoned space. The amenities available were interesting and upscale, but not particularly practical. There was an old-timey phone booth in our room and a lovely rain shower, but no place to put our wet towels and the fan clunked all night long. I would rather have a place to put my toiletries than a toilet that requires a remote control. We were instructed to pay with venmo if we wanted ice, there were no goodies or bottled water in the room. At this price point it seemed a little like non event guests were a money making afterthought.
the rooms were beautifully decorated
Exquisite garden grounds and outdoor vistas. Huge rooms and showers and everything you could want in an overnight stay. Super affordable! The perfect cap to a weeklong trip.
Pros for this property included the location, the landscaping and the size of the room; beds were comfortable and the two porches were nice.
The initial check in was not good as we discovered the bathroom needed to be cleaned, requiring us to make a trip to the store and then clean the bathroom. The vanity lights were missing one working bulb and the two remaining didn't match - one white and one sort of yellow light. There is also very insufficient space to put your bathroom items if you are two women! Also, the toe stubber of the stone addition at the doors created one rolled ankle and one stubbed toe - dangerous, in my opinion. The coffee maker didn't work and we had to wait while they brought a new one which made for a delayed first morning of vacation. And if anyone had looked at it when they cleaned, they would have seen all of the crud in the bottom of the water tank - it was gross. But the worst part was that they allowed very late check ins on BOTH sides of us (never stay in the Parlour Suite!) which awakened us from our sleep; one after 10pm and one after midnight! Both check ins were not only very loud with these thin walls (very, very thin walls) but because there is no signage on the doors (and one of ours opened easily into one of the rooms with no door on their side!,) both tennants tried very hard to open the doors into our room late at night. There were three different tennants on one side of us for the 4 days we were there and two of them tried to open that door. Loudly. One of them was shining a flashlight into the leaded glass window, trying to see in and actually came up on our porch, searching the door for entry. I had to finally threaten to call the police to get the management to do something about it. Speaking of which, that leaded glass window is annoying if you are sleeping across from it and the neighbor next door turns on their patio light. It shines directly into the room.
La posizione nella natura e la festa del mercoledì sera
What a special place! Loved the decor! Big rooms with character! Excellent peaceful patio to sit on for morning coffee!
Bathroom not quite up to snuff with the rest of the room but still good...
The location and room itself were charming, beautiful, and quiet, the bed was comfortable, and the whole place was very clean.
The biggest concern was that the room didn’t darken from the property lights. There were only sheer curtains that we could find on the main, heavily windowed wall and the stained glass let through quite a bit of light too. We would have appreciated more towels (only two bath towels) and available, quality showering supplies. The soap was tiny and didn’t lather, there was no shampoo and conditioner. It was a little strange not having any staff readily available on-site when our door lock was having trouble opening, though off-site staff was reasonably responsive.
