Great view and accommodations

Staying at the Golden Pineapple villas was the highlight of our trip. Perfect location with walking distance to the waterfall. The drive there is a little steep at times, so just make sure to have a four wheel drive car to get there. The staff were all very friendly, had such great recommendations for getting around and navigating tourist areas of Costa Rica. They were helpful in me trying to practice Spanish and taught us some Spanish phrases used in Costa Rica and taught us about the Costa Rican culture. Very personable staff! Me and my husband were here on our honeymoon and it’s so hard to pick a place in Costa Rica because the options are endless- the Golden Pineapple is a true hidden gem with money very well spent. We had a private pool and bathtub which were both absolutely breathtaking. If you want a quiet, romantic get away and/or love being in nature I Highly highly recommend staying here! When we went to another part of Costa Rica we kept saying we wished we were back at the Golden Pineapple!

Great Resort

The villas were gorgeous, the property beautifully landscaped, and the view outstanding. The on-site restaurant was excellent and the staff wonderful. The owner, who lives on the property. Went above and beyond to help us. I just can’t say enough good things about this place.

We stayed 4 nights, 5 days at Golden Pineapple and wish we never had to leave. We felt right at home the whole time, from the minute Marlon picked us up from SJO. Marlon, Pablo, and Leo were seriously so sweet, friendly, and attentive the whole time. The property is beautiful and well maintained daily. If you choose to stay and relax the whole time you absolutely could with no complaints. They also help you accommodate any excursions or beach days if you like and will take you there for an extra cost. The food is delicious, you can choose to dine at their outdoor restaurant or room service. Everything we tried was amazing and the prices were fair. Gracias por todo! Absolutely stunning property! We had the 2 bedroom villa and enjoyed our stay immensely. The service here is fabulous...And the food is top notch.
The owners and staff members know how to make their guests happy. This is a must stay in my opinion.

This was the BEST property we’ve ever stayed at!! Very secluded and private. Views are amazing and the food is incredible!! Rooms are beautiful and very well furnished. So many activities to do!! The staff treated us like we were the only people there.

My husband and I came here on our honeymoon mid June. This place is wonderful. It feels so incredibly private and peaceful. In fact, we hardly even saw other guests while there. The villas are lovely and the views are phenomenal. The villas have a kitchen which is fully stocked (plates, silverware, pots, etc) as well as complimentary drinks inside the fridge each day. The outdoor shower and tub are great. The staff are lovely. They take the time to get to know you and your names. They are very kind. The food was great. If you haven’t figured it out from other reviews, you absolutely need to have a 4x4 vehicle to get here! I will admit the drive up was kinda scary sometimes, but it gets better after you do it a few times. There are pretty steep dirt roads to get here. And have good brakes on the car for the way down!

A few tips:
-bring bug spray, there are lots of insects everywhere.
-bring earplugs if you need to sleep in quiet. The wildlife can be loud at night!
-there are shades over the windows in your villa, but they don’t really block light. The sun rises very early and it gets very bright. Bring a sleep mask if that’s something you need!
-we shopped at the BM Supermercado right in Uvita, it was very convenient.

We saw toucans and other amazing birds right from the hotel. You truly are in the jungle here, it’s amazing!

I would definitely recommend staying here. Out of all the exploring we did while in CR, Uvita was definitely the best place to be!

The place was an absolute dream stunning views in every direction!! Highly recommend it for couples my wife me I loved every minute of it! Staff and restaurant were top notch all around excellent 10 stars!!

The villas are fantastic and staff was so nice and offered great service. The view of birds and other wildlife was nice. One of the staff took us where we needed to go a stayed right with us which was great since the villas are rather remote. They store modern with private pools in each. I will definitely go back.

One of the nicest places I’ve stayed in Central America. Beautiful villas on the side of the mountain with a beautiful view of the whale tail. Service and food were top notch.

Our whole stay was beautiful! From the villa, to the views to the service. We will definitely return one day!

Located in the heart of the mountain, access only by 4x4, with stunning views from the restaurant and main pool as well as from the villa.
Food at the restaurant is very good and the customer service is top notch.

We had total privacy, a wonderful plunge pool and a view across the trees and valley to the Pacific, sunsets and Uvitas whale's tail, a huge sand bar that appears and disappears with the tide. The food was very good, but not excellent. It is luxurious and everyone tries really, really hard to please guests. Toucans and other birds stopped by our patio, 10 feet away. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Amazing stay …

The people that work at this property are amazing and the rooms were fantastic. The views were first class. The food was delicious and we just absolutely loved our stay there.
