Great value stay
Pros:

I’ve stayed here a number of times over the past couple of years , a lovely old hotel albeit more like a pub with rooms . Staff very welcoming , food offering is good with very reasonable price offerings . Rooms are all spacious with comfortable beds

Cons:

My only grumble is a wardrobe without hangers … Why ?

Perfectly adequate and good value for an overnight stop over.
Pros:

No breakfast available at this location. Friendly staff. A very basic bar menu but great chips and beer.

Cons:

Cleanliness in room needed some attention. A large cobweb hanging from the celing lamp added to the gothic atmosphere of the property. Some remaining sawdust on the carpet, presumably from a previous tradesman occupant. Shower outlet blocked.

Comfy bed, spacious bathroom and the snacks for breakfast in the room were a lovely touch plus water bottles.
Pros:

The style and how it was not too modern had a bit of character. Parking was great. Clean and staff were friendly.

Cons:

We stayed in room one the door outside leading down towards the stairs was very noisy. Could hear everyone who went through it .

Very pleasant, would like to stay for more than one night next time.
Pros:

Everything about it was lovely, we would stay again. We all had a good nights sleep, nice and peaceful, a far better experience than a motorway side hotel.

Cons:

We have no complaints, just a couple of suggestions, to have a extra kitchen chair would be useful, and also a jar of coffee, as an option, would be good
