Hoher Qualitätsstandard der Zimmerausstattung - sehr gute Lage am Strand von Bentota
Pros:

Die Ausstattung des Zimmers war von sehr hohem Standard - wir hatten das Deluxe Doppelzimmer gebucht - groß, komfortabel, tolles Bad.
Die Lage am Strand in Bentota ist sehr schön, der kurze Weg zum Strand vom Hotel ist überwiegend im Schatten.
Duschen, Umkleidekabine, WC am Strand sind sehr schön und sauber.

Cons:

Unser Deluxe Doppelzimmer war in einem Nebengebäude, der Weg zum Restaurant, zur Rezeption und zum Strand war umständlich, über den Garten zur Straße und dann wieder zurück in die Hotelanlage.
Das Nebengebäude liegt an der Hauptstraße, Abends und früh morgens waren die Busse und LKW‘s ziemlich laut.
Die Terrasse des Zimmers war sehr groß und schön, aber eigentlich kann man damit nicht viel anfangen weil morgens und abends Moskitos den Aufenthalt dort beeinträchtigen und der Ausblick nur in einen Baum und das daneben liegende Hotel geht.
Das Frühstück wurde nach Auswahl pro Person gemacht - Eier und Toast waren meistens schon kalt als sie an den Tisch kamen, in den meisten anderen Hotels in SriLanka hatten wir Frühstücksbuffet was uns viel besser gefallen hat.
Insgesamt wurden unsere hohen Erwartungen auf Grund der vielen sehr guten Bewertungen des Hotels nicht erfüllt.

Pros:

Great location, beautiful by the beach, very relaxed vibe. Lovely staff. Huge, clean rooms. Convenient to have food/ drinks there.

Cons:

The room we got was quite dark and tucked away which was great for temperature as it stayed cool but wasn't the most breathtaking spot. The vibe is also definitely more retiree - older crowd or families.

Pros:

Sehr großes, toll ausgestattetes Zimmer mit einem Badetempel.
Die Lage und die Ausstattung am Strand waren top!

Cons:

Um auf das Zimmer zu gelangen muss man die Anlage verlassen. (War für und aber kein Problem)

Pros:

Brilliant location, the beach is fantastic with sunbeds provided and the grounds beautifully maintained. Our room was very big, well equipped and clean. They let us check in early after we'd just flown in very weary which was gratefully appreciated.

Cons:

Dinner at the restaurant was very disappointing, it came out tough and cold. Food at the beach cafe however was fantastic, our breakfast was good too.

Pros:

Tout. Nous avions réservé 2 chambres identiques, alors que celle de nos amis donnait sur les climatiseurs et était pas très lumineuse.
Nous avons demandé un changement de chambre et on leur a proposé une chambre donnant sur la route.
Du coup ils ont gardé la chambre donnant sur les climatiseurs et l’hôtel leur a offert les petits-déjeuners.

Cons:

Le p’tit déjeuner est très bon, mais cher 10€/pers.pour le pays.

Amal beach hotel and Restaurant
Pros:

Хороший ресторан, был тут 12 лет назад, на этом месте был только ресторан, отеля не было. Качество ресторана не упало, цена чуть выше чем вокруг, но они это заслужили. Оплатить можно картой, что удобно.
Теперь про отель. В номере чисто, полотенца меняют, сантехника в исправном состоянии. В целом персонал старается.
У этого отеля оборудована пляжная зона, удобные шезлонги, сервис с едой и напитками, что удобно для тех кто привык. К пляжу оборудована дорожка через железную дорогу, стоит специальный человек, который следит чтобы вы безопасно пересекли железную дорогу. На пляже оборудованы туалеты (чисто), душ с пресной водой, кабинки для переодевания.
Любите жить у моря на безлюдном пляже, это место именно такое. Мои ежедневные прогулки по пляжу в количестве 10 км были потрясающими. Природа, океан, белый шум, отсутствие людей.
Мы брали полупансион, все по честному, выбирать будете из обычного меню, а не обрезанного (салат/стартер/+основное блюдо+десерт) напитки оплачиваются дополнительно. Если будете брать свежие море продукты вместо блюд из меню, делают хорошую скидку.

Cons:

На мой вкус номер маловат (на пару ночей ок, но две недели будет тесно), окна выходили во двор на парковку ресторана, в общем вида из номера нет.
Балкон есть, но из него дают парковку, поэтому есть он или нет, без вида он нам не нужен.

Lugnt och trevligt
Pros:

Välskött och trevlig personal. Utmärkt mat på restaurangen. Fria solstolar och handdukar på stranden. Väldigt strandnära.

Cons:

För höga vågor för att vara badvänligt för de inte så äventyrliga, men i övrigt fantastisk sandstrand utan klippor och stenar.

Perfect Stay
Pros:

Everything. The hotel was perfect. First time in Sri Lanka and we couldn't have picked a better hotel for our first visit. The staff were marvellous inc the restaurant, the room staff, and the beach staff. The food was excellent and was that good that we ate in the hotel restaurant virtually every night. Fantastic new years eve party. Buffet in restaurant and then party on the beach. Thank you all for a perfect stay.
