My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend (3 days, 2 nights) and, from the first phone call, our experience was customer service focused. I called ahead to see about our room and had some questions and the friendliness and professionalism busted through the phone. Nothing changed when we arrived. From start to finish, we were cared for and, even more importantly, it wasn’t robotic. Anybody we encountered had a smile and personality. To me, that shined just as bright if not brighter than the actual place, which was also amazing.
First, I’m sure I don’t need to tell you, if you’re looking to relax and not face the insane crowds, a non game weekend is the way to go. More options as far as rooms and I can’t even imagine something like the pool when it’s packed. Every single type of food, bar, activity is within walking distance. Lots of couples and families come to hang out since there are public garages available even during non game weekends. You can literally park and not have to move your car. If you want to explore, you can Uber/Lyft pretty easily. The valet is pretty expensive but it’s on par with upscale hotels downtown. Not sure how the public garages work. You’d have to haul your luggage a good distance so I say if you can swing it, just valet. Those guys are awesome too!
Omni thought about everything with this hotel. The aesthetics are beautiful. Elevator is SUPER fast. Our room facing the baseball field was on point. We had almost a full panoramic view of the field and the city on the 12th floor. The pool on Saturday had a DJ and he was on fire. Good people there with friends and family. And then the nightlife was like walking in NYC. Again, no need to leave.
Beware that there might be events that start early morning. We were so excited to check in that we missed the big “March for Babies” sign and they got started at 7 a.m.!!! Even with our white noise, we were woken up but we made the best of it and got our day started early with coffee and looking out the window.
All in all, this is the best hotel experience we’ve ever had, very close to a resort feel. In a time where the customer service is all but dead, this was a breath of fresh air. Shout out to Gift at the front desk for his excellent customer service presence. If you get taken care of by him, you’ll be good! We can’t wait to go back in August. If you have any kind of credit card that has this hotel in the network (Chase for example), just book it. You won’t be disappointed.
The staff waa extremely friendly and courteous. It was so convenient to the Braves game!!! It waa wonderful just to be able to walk back to the room. There waa no hassle!
The sheets were a little scratchy, but the pillows were super soft!
Annual family baseball stadium trip which included Baltimore, DC and Atlanta. I was expecting Omni Battery Park to be the highlight hotel, but it probably places 3rd of the 3 hotels during our trip. Four Season Baltimore, while a mile from Camden Yards, was first place and not close. Westin Georgetown, a 15 minute (in traffic) Uber to Nationals Stadium was second place due to the size and layout of the rooms. I was expecting my “Suite” at Omni Battery Park to put the others to shame due to the proximity to Truist Stadium, but I’m disappointed. Our “suite”, room 1104, is just a nice size, normal king hotel room. The word suite should not be used in the description. Room has a table against a wall with one chair that’s your workstation. Bathroom is nice, but not spectacular. The price paid is all about being next door to Truist Stadium. Other hotels in easy walking distance might be a better option and I will definitely explore that before booking here again. Renaissance, that is .3 miles away seems to know how to define a suite, 830 sq feet room option with a separate living room and bedroom with 2 TVs and 1 & 1/2 bathrooms.
Omni Battery Park is very nice, but not built to the specs of other high end properties. Even the standard room that we stayed at Omni Airport Dallas had a sofa in the room and was just as large. Disappointing after having set such high expectations.
Still a nice property.
The hotel staff were excellent,
Beautiful view and location
Check in was easy and informative. Gift, the receptionist, was helpful and went above and beyond. Overall an amazing property.
Exceptional customer service from the front desk to the restaurant staff. The housekeeping team also does an outstanding job keeping everything spotless. The location is perfect, and the poolside view overlooking the Braves game is an experience you shouldn’t miss. The property is clean, modern, and well-maintained. My wife and I stayed for three days and enjoyed every single minute of our stay. We would definitely return and highly recommend it to others.
I loved every second of being at the Omni Hotel. You never felt like a burden to them. They were so accommodating and helpful. The room and facility was wonderful and clean. It's nice to feel like high class sometimes and that's how you feel at the Omni.
The amazing view from the room
My room wasn't ready til 4:08 which really wasn't a big deal because the amazing staff helped us get situated and the room was great
I brought my grandmother to see the Braves for her 99th birthday and she had an amazing experience. I chose the hotel based on location for maximum ease. But we got much more than we expected. Every person at the hotel treated her with extreme kindness. We had 20+ people come for dinner at the National Anthem and Jessica handled us all with such skill and grace. Plus the food was delicious! Shelly made sure my grandmother had an amazing room and a thoughtfully selected gift basket. I was blown away by how well we were treated.
This is a prime hotel if you want to see the Atlanta Braves play and don't want to deal with the traffic--or want to drink afterwards and don't want to drive home. I admit, while I am a hotel snob, I don't stay at hotels as expensive as the Omni. My room was great and I would definitely go back. That said, for those used to more opulent hotel rooms similar to the Ritz Carlton, you may be disappointed. You're paying for the location as much as the actual hotel room.
Front desk staff was amazing. Hotel very clean and it’s close to everything. Dining and shopping The Braves stadium is right there. Very Nice!
Everything was Great Nothing Negative at all.
The service was great from check-in to departure. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Was there for a conference, and the catering between sessions was delicious with a good variety. Location was convenient to walk around the shops and restaurants nearby. There was a concert one evening, which made the traffic and noise go up in the evening, but I appreciated the lively scene.
We always enjoy this Omni when we travel for baseball. It is a first class place. Our only downticks are for limited dining options within the hotel, and that they charge $60 a night just to leave my car unused throughout the stay. To be fair, there are multiple dining options within short walking distance.
