Most beautiful room I've ever stayed in. Convenient location to NOHO, SOHO, Washington Square, and NYU.
Check-in was 3:00, but didn't get into the room until 4:30.

O hotel é extremamente escuro, todos os ambientes, inclusive o elevador. Por conta disso, voce nem consegue avaliar o grau de limpeza dele. Achei a cama (nao sei se foi so no meu quarto) muito pequena e o quarto também. Achei que ele é um hotel para gente jovem (devido a escuridão) e que nao vai fazer muitas compras, pois nao tem espaço se voce tem muitas malas.

I thought the hotel was unique, the staff was fabulous, and the room service was outstanding.
Our room faced the street , so the construction noise was a little much to hear when we were paying a pretty high price for our 4 day stay.
The turndown service in the evening was a nice touch

The best part of The Bowery is the staff. They are very accommodating and friendly. The bar has come up with some excellent drinks that are too good. Recommend the Berry Fiber.
The building itself is well taken care of and gives a very VIP vibe with the darker atmosphere and lack of distracting background music.
Fleed to the Bowery after a horrible experinece in a nearby hotel and I could not be happier with that decision.
My doughter and I enjoyed every single second of our stay.
Room was bright, charming and spotless, staff were kind and attentive, and the food was delicious.
Oh and the linnens!! My daughter said it was the best bed she ever slept in (she is correct).
Location is also perfect for us.

Old New York charm in a cool location
We booked this hotel because it was conveniently located near a wedding we were attending. Prior to our stay, we informed the hotel that we would be returning late (around 3:00 a.m.) and were assured that this would not be an issue.
Unfortunately, when we arrived back at the hotel at approximately 3:00 a.m., there was no staff on site and the entire property had lost power. Because the electronic entry system was not functioning, we were unable to access either the hotel or our room. We repeatedly attempted to contact the hotel and waited roughly 40 minutes for a response.
When we finally reached the manager, we were informed that there was an electrical issue and that we would simply have to wait for the power to return. We were also told that it would take her over an hour to arrive at the property. Left with no practical alternative, we were forced to climb over a wall to gain access to the hotel.
Once inside, the situation was no better. There was still no electricity, no air conditioning, no lighting, and none of the room facilities were functioning. Given the extremely hot weather and the late hour, this was both uncomfortable and unacceptable. We asked whether we could reset the electrical system ourselves, but the manager initially refused to tell us where the electrical cabinet was located because spare keys were stored there. After considerable discussion, she eventually agreed, allowing us to restore power ourselves at around 4:30 a.m.
What is most concerning is that the hotel was aware of our late return and yet there was no contingency plan in place for guests being locked out. In the event of a medical emergency, fire, or other urgent situation, guests would have had no assistance available and potentially no safe means of entering or exiting the property.
The location was convenient, but the complete lack of support during what was clearly an exceptional situation made for a very disappointing experience
Very enjoyable stay at the Bowery. Loved the atmosphere and ambience. Room was big for NYC, with lots of natural light. Hotel located in East Village/NOHO with easy access to subway stations, and pleasant walking into East Village, Greenwich Village and SOHO.
