Great location and luxuriously styled.
The university blocks all views of the water so you’re looking into another building. For an upmarket apartment the quality of the toilet paper was poor.
The service from all was exceptional!
Free coffee, tea and pod machine but no milk.
The apartment had a good layout and nice design. It's at a very convenient location, close to the CBD and lots of cafes and restaurants.
It was a large room. The shower was fantastic…no door! Having a dryer meant that we had warm towels. We watched our Netflix shows. Having a microwave to heat things was great. The chairs were comfy for sitting and reading and there were two of them. The apartment was light and we enjoyed the warming sun on our backs. The staff were professional and kind.
The amenities…crockery etc were only ok. The location was great but not the view. The bed was huge but we joked about having to cross the dividing range to cuddle…it had a hump where the beds joined. However, we slept well.
The property was in an excellent position for the Salamanca Markets and restaurants.

Salamanca Suites was an incredibly comfortable stay, included all amenities of an apartment and very close proximity to the heart of Hobart.
The staff were always most friendly and helpful, giving us extra towels or detergents or bathroom amenities as needed. Staff were extra accommodating when we requested a late checkout as we were travelling with a baby, they allowed us to stay until midday which meant we didn't have to carry our luggage and car seats to reception to store and we were allowed to store infant milk in the fridge until the last minute of leaving given the later checkout. This really helped our travel home with an infant and made our experience so relaxed and enjoyable. The details and over and above service really goes a long way, and the rooms are the perfect place to stay with everything needed for a cosy getaway. We stay each year and can't wait to return.
