Guyi Jade Eco-Wellness Hotel

I went for the F1 Event. Hotel is 3 stations (stops) always for Shanghai Circuit and approx a 10 min walk from Anting Station.
There is heaps of food options and shops nearby (at Anting Stn).

Hotel is at a good location if you have business in the NW part of Shanghai, or Disney; it's only a 5-minute walk from the metro station and also close to the Anting-North train station. The rooms are big and clean, room service is excellent and the food is top quality. The basement has a nice gym with lots of equipment but smells a bit musty, maybe because this summer has been hot & humid. The property manager (Julie) is super helpful & friendly, and is always around to help with transportation, directions, hotel questions etc. In short, would definitely go back here any time in the future.

First time in my life that the hotel General Manager offered me to repair my suitcase after she saw I had lost a wheel, and was moving the suitcase on 3 wheels. The same night my suitcase was in my room, fully repaired !!

We stayed here for 7 nights for the 2019 Grand Prix. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the Anting metro station which is just 3 stops on the metro to the Shanghai Circuit (15 minutes max) so the location was perfect. The hotel is very, very clean in every part we visited so if that is something you look for, the Urban Island is the place for you. The staff could not do enough for us with Julie, Emma, Amy and Edward all standing out for a special mention. The breakfast had everything you wanted and if it was not there all we had to do was request it and it was cooked for us. Continental, western with bacon/eggs/beans/mushrooms/tomato and traditional Chinese foods were all available. All facilities were extremely clean with beautifully furnished rooms. Towels are changed every day even if you don't request it which was a nice touch. Tea and coffee making facility in the room which you do not get everywhere these days with 2 complimentary bottles of water every day. The hotel grounds are stunning. We spent about an hour watching an old Chinese man fishing in the hotel moat with his wife paddling the boat. It was so calm and peaceful. All in all I could not find any fault with the hotel at all and I would certainly recommend it, not just for F1 visitors but for family breaks too. Luxury at a mid range price so exceptional value for money. 10/10.

Stayed from 20th. November till 26th. Very grand in the old style,GM & staff very helpful. Room was very good but could be a little bit brighter at night. Food, especially breakfast, was fantastic most of the time. Took a walk around and realised it had a 'moat' around it ..so it is really an island..kind off...
A short walk out to the main street and you can access more restaurants and malls if thats your kind of thing.
I was there for a race event at the Shanghai International Circuit and the Urban Island is convenient and just 20 odd minutes away.
My bosses from France and the team (from Europe,UK,Australia,Singapore & Macau) have nothing but praise for this hotel..so yup, highly recommended if you need to be in this part of Shanghai...no jams here!!

I was in Shanghai, on business, the Urban Island hotel was recommended to me by my colleagues due to it's location to the facilities I was visiting. I stayed at the Urban Island hotel for 3 nights. I found the staff friendly and very helpful. The room was extremely well furnished and decorated. I found the bed very comfortable. The hotels grounds were like a garden and had a walking path around the property. I had breakfast in the hotel and found it to be excellent and plentiful, both Asian and western fare. There are many shops within walking distance of the hotel. My only recommendation is that they should have an ATM on site. I recommend this hotel and will consider staying there again when my travels take me to the area.

New facility with terrific rooms. Great value. Luxury at a moderate price. Stayed here for 4 nights while in Jiading on business. Great accommodations. Good restaurants and wonderful Olympic sized pool and exercise facility. Walking distance to restaurants and Auto Town attractions including Shanghai Auto Museum.

During my business trip I stayed here again in this hotel and it is very recommandable.
Rooms are big and clean and quiet. This time a got a room with a bath tube. All rooms have free WIFI, TV and a coffee/tea machine. The staff is very helpful and friendly. When I checked out I got a free coffee because the taxi had a delay.
But this time the breakfast was not so nice, there was only one slice of old toast and only orange marmelade avaliable. if the Hotel would offer western breakfast choices I would give 5 stars.

I stayed here for 1 night in June 2016 and I can highly recommend this one.
Very clean and spacious room with coffeemaker (Nespresso) and free WIFI.
Staff speaks english.

I visited with my colleague and the Hotel is very new and it is very beautifully crafted by the Engineers. The rooms are so comfortable and cozy. You will wake up so refreshed.
If you het a chance to stay here, so give them a chance. Also, they have free wifi without password hassles so u will enjoy that.

I managed corporate rate through my work. This hotel is great! We were amazed at the standard of decor and furniture within the hotel (I was surprised the table surface is made by jade) . The room was spacious with an extremely large bed. a gigantic flat screen tv and lavish bathroom and shower room. The breakfast buffet was banquet, and the restaurant staff extremely attentive, to the extent you could not put down your napkin whilst visiting the buffet without finding it immaculately refold on your return to the table. An all round friendly atmosphere. The swimming pool facility was better than the most hotels. I am sure we will be back next year!

like stay in new hotels, everything is fresh. Kids liked the Auto Museum and strawberry garden near by. the room was sunny and warm and the breakfast got lots choices. the home-made yoghurt was yummy. Also have to mention the in-door swinmming pool, very impressive!
