The room a lot of dusk and not to clean in the bathroom a lot stain
Upon my arrival to Marriott Irvine Spectrum hotel with my husband. Edgar and the rest of the valet crew showed me where the elevator up to Hive and Honey with out reservation being at 8:30pm so we came down to the bottom bar and helped us quickly. Good ambience upstairs and getting our car was very fast.
My family and I stayed here for our spring break. While the hotel is nice and well-maintained, we did not enjoy the club lounge or the Honey and Hive rooftop bar.
The M Club Lounge served the same breakfast every morning. The eggs tasted like they came from a bag and had a strange texture. The dirty dishes were left in a bucket right next to the food which was pretty unappetizing. And lastly, the beverage fridge was pretty much empty almost our entire stay (see photo).
The rooftop restaurant had very mediocre food and the staff was not friendly at all.
Our room was beautiful though and had a gorgeous view. Also, the pool is gorgeous and pool staff was great.
Marriott Irvine Spectrum is easily one of the best hotel experiences in Orange County if you know what you’re booking.
From the second you walk in, the place feels elevated. Clean, modern, and designed with intention — not your typical Marriott. The entire property has that upscale, resort-style energy while still being in a prime business and shopping location.
The rooftop bar (Hive & Honey) is a major highlight. Panoramic views of Irvine, great atmosphere, and the perfect spot to end the night. It’s one of those features that takes the hotel from good to unforgettable.
Rooms are spacious, clean, and very well put together. Comfortable beds, great lighting, and large windows that give you that full city view. Everything feels updated and high quality.
The pool area is another standout — cabanas, lounge areas, and a setup that actually feels like a resort, not just a basic hotel pool.
Location is perfect. You’re right next to Irvine Spectrum Center, so you’ve got restaurants, shopping, and entertainment all within minutes.
Staff across the board was professional, friendly, and efficient. Everything ran smooth — no issues, no delays, no headaches.
Bottom line: this place blends business, lifestyle, and resort energy better than most hotels in the area. Whether you’re here for work or a getaway, it delivers.
10/10 — would absolutely stay here again.
The hotel and staff made a hard business trip much more enjoyable. I really appreciate the kind service at the front desk and valet. The employees Adani, AJ, Kayla and Andrew. Great job! Thank you!
Jenkins Family
Great hotel with fantastic rooftop restaurant. Valet staff was great too. Cole Zach, AJ and Makayla all supper helpful with the ton of luggage I had.
I had an amazing stay with my boyfriend. The ambience was great and the staff was super kind. Casey in valet was quick to help us in getting our car and had such a kind demeanor! Definitely will be back.
Casey was awesome-super professional, quick, and made the whole valet experience smooth and stress-free. Really appreciated the great service. Would definitely recommend.
Very modern, clean , amazing view, the bed was 10/10 comfort.
They should have change my glass every clean, they didn’t and left it dirty. Valet is a must I wish I can park myself, Although they had reasonable price and good valet service.
$55 a day mandatory valet. This is the definition of a cash grab and anti customer service. You pay to not self park your car which would be quicker, so for the benefit of waiting everyday I got to pay an extra $55. One day we actually just walked to our car, got in it and drove away instead of waiting. This would be a good case study for a business school on how to provide the opposite of value for a customers money. The other beauty was a rooftop bar that was advertised as an amenity, but wait, you can't go there on almost all the nights we stayed caused it was rented out for private parties.
The room I booked was not given correctly. They even placed us in a PWD room, and the room was very dirty. The information they provided was also inaccurate. We were extremely upset, and even during checkout, the experience was still terrible. I will never come back, and I will be filing a complaint.
Upon my arrival upstairs to H&H Edgar and his valets took great care of me and my friends. We ran late for our reservation but he made it happen for me and my friends celebrating his 27th birthday party. Our cars were parked up front upon our departure, I will definitely be recommending friends and family upstairs for the small bites and drinks. Hive and Honey is a great vibe to bring friends, family or a date. I will be back with here for brunch on Sunday mornings since I live so close to the hotel.
Location.
The mattress was old and uncomfortable.
