Hotel Ancora

It is a lovely family run hotel. Everyone worked hard to make sure that we had a great time. The dinners were excellent, the hotel is kept spotlessly clean. Decorated throughout with some wonderful antiques.

It is always sad to write dissapointed reviews but.. On one hand, inside this hotel could be small museum, plenty of old beautiful things in reception area, nice rooms - at least ours was pleasant. But food and spa, and ski room quality was more than sad.
Our skiing shoes stayed wet all 5 days, in spite that reception was promising to 'call electrician', but I guess the problem is that heating is switched off for night time and wet shoes do not dry during last our in the morning when heating is switched on.
Spa area - spa is like included into price, but You'll have to rent bathrobe or run naked through corridors to the basement where spa is. No dressing premises in spa area, no towels - you have to look for them somewhere else.. Mould smell from sauna area was so bad that we did not dare to stay there and used only pool.
And finally the food. I attach some dinner photos that explain everything. Meat + potatoes + mayonaise does not even sound Italian, and huge amount of salt everywhere.
In general, no feeling that You are in Italy. Maybe an option to rent only a room without foid and spa. That's a pitty because it is obvious that someone has put many efforts and heart to make that small museum in reception area and equip rooms and corridors, that are really wonderfull.

Very welcome and warm people, good service; and biker friendly.
Also nice roads in the areas.
Ideal for last minute visits.

Spa and swimming pool for relaxing the motorbike muscles.

Very good food. Hotel in a special old style. Prima bed and shower-room.
Situated in the village with only some shops. To ski or snowboard you have to take the bus (10 à 20 km). During the winter (begin of march) is very early dark and cold outside because of the surrending mountains.

Comodo per visitare Cavalese e per raggiungere le tante piste vicine.
La mezza pensione è sicuramente molto conveniente. Molto positivo il fatto che ho sempre trovato parcheggio. Utilissima la piccola Coop a pochi metri dall’ingresso.

Located i central Predazzo. The room and beds are really good. Every afternoon there is an cake-buffé. The breakfast is good. The "diamond" ofvthe hotel is the dinner. Every evening you enjoy five courses and it tastes bettter than best.

Recommended by a friend and described as a little gem... he wasn't wrong! The owners Lucia and Lia along with their staff made us ever so welcome right from the off with there creation of a warm and friendly atmosphere. An adequate breakfast in the morning was followed by a more than adequate evening meal which varied daily.
Perfect for a ski break, the hotel is situated within 2 mins of the Cermis ski slopes, with it's wide pistes, and within 5 mins of the larger town Cavalese. The other Val di Fiemme resorts such as Oberggen, Pampeago and Predazzo are also within easy reach.
The hotels spa area was also ideal for easing the aches and pains of a day on the slopes!
I wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend Hotel Ancora to friends and family!

Very Good Value for Money. Clean and with Caracter. Good food (we were on half pension), Close to all major ski resort (by car or anyway 1 minutes from the skibus stop). Acqua center to help you relax and reset you body. Owners (Paolo, Lia & Lucia) and staff (All but in particular Mario at the Bar and Zina at the restaurant) were amazing, what a NICE holiday... I will 100% come back and would reccomend to anyone!!!
