Chocolate box beautiful, steeped in history, idyllic!

Cons:

Felt extremely welcomed, all the staff were friendly and engaging. The food was great and exactly what you would expect and a bit more from good pub grub. Would recommend.

A lovely cosy place to eat and stay the night.
Pros:

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was very comfortable and nicely presented. It was warm and cosy and there are nice toilettries in the bathroom. The dinner and breakfast were excellent.

Cons:

We did not identify anything we did not like.

I would stay again if I was in the area it was a clean lovely place to stay
Pros:

We booked for my daughters wedding my husband booked in well before we could the lady was cleaning the room she was very pleasant and helpful when I came back to stay that night I was very impressed the bed was comfy the bathroom was so clean and lovely we didn’t book breakfast but we did have breakfast it was lovely service was incredible I would highly recommend this a warm friendly cosy place to stay

Cons:

The only thing that they need to look at is the milk in the room for tea & coffee ours was off and made my husband poorly

Highly recommend, cosy, comfortable stay.
Pros:

I stayed at compasses en route to Cornwall. My dog and I were made to feel so welcome. The food was absolutely delicious and the room was incredibly comfortable and cosy.

Stunning country inn serving delicious food and drink.
Pros:

Beautiful old grade 1 listed building with loads of character. Delicious food and drink served by very friendly and attentive staff. Bedrooms very comfortable, excellent bed linen and the bath in room 2 a joy! 🛁

Cons:

Nothing, will return when we can. Thanks for a lovely stay at The Compasses again.

Pros:

The old style pub thought it was great, stayed for breakfast that was excellent. Accommodation was very comfortable and clean, scandi style which was lovely, would love to go back, highly recommend.
