Por lo céntrico el acceso puede no ser tan inmediato con vehículo, pero es algo externo al hotel.
La atención de las recepcionistas y el personal de apoyo.
La habitación era sumamente pequeña, lo mismo el baño. Al caminar sonaba el piso de madera. No había agua caliente, tuve que ir a recepción a presentar mi observación, arreglaron el problema pero fue incómodo meterse a la ducha y recibir solo agua fría en una ciudad muy fría.
Por otro lado, me parece ridículo que en el desayuno, que está incluído, te cobren la cebolla y el jitomate.
Staff was friendly and generally wonderful. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. Basically, everything other than the room itself was fantastic.
Room description didn't match - there was no living area (it's a common area labeled social area). The jacuzzi is also common use. And the balcony with the mountain views is also a common area. The room didn't appear to be insulated so it was quite chilly, and there were parts of the ceiling where the light shined through. There also was extensive water damage in the bathroom ceiling.
Stijlvol, netjes. Voldoende dekens. Fijn dat het hotel een restaurant heeft. Locatie is prima op een steenworp van het Parque Central.
Het restaurant heeft weliswaar een bijzonder, Spaans (uit het land Spanje) menu, de porties zijn erg klein. Het inbegrepen ontbijt is een uitgeklede versie van traditioneel ontbijt en valt zwaar tegen.

Very close to the center, lot of dining options. We were so close that we could hear the celebrations that went in the center. Luckily they stopped at about 10pm. Room spacious, great bed, shower, towels. Not big breakfast but more than enough. Staff very welcoming and helpful
No heat in the room but we didn’t it. Temp dropped at night and climb up. There enough blankets to keep you warm
La ubicación, a pasos de parque central, la recepcionista muy amable.
El restaurante es algo caro y atendido por personas con poca experiencia. Éramos 4 personas al almuerzo, pedimos 4 platos, 3 con papas fritas y uno con verduras y nos trajeron 3 con verduras y uno con papas fritas. Nos quedaron de traer las papas fritas que faltaban pero llegaron cuando ya habíamos terminado de comer.
Las habitaciones son algo oscuras y con poca iluminación artificial.
El segundo día llegamos a las 5pm y las habitaciones no habían sido hechas. Tuvimos que pedir que las hicieran y respondieron de inmediato. Al parecer hubo una confusión del personal de aseo
La comodidad de las instalaciones, la amabilidad del personal, el estilo tradicional del edificio y la decoración me gustaron mucho.
La verdad no hay nada que no me haya gustado.

A nice place, very quiero and a great location
Hotel Boutique Casa Morasan is a delightful colonial style home converted to a wonderful hotel. The staff was highly responsive and engaging. The room represents a traditional Guatemalan style with charming accents that reflect the heritage of the family, the building, and the city. the room features are updated and well kept while still reflecting historic authenticity(light switches). This is not your roadside corporate hotel, thank goodness.
The location is a block off the square which allows the noise, that exists in every Guatemalan square, to be held at a distance but as a guest, you still have easy access.
The hotel is filled with antiques and pieces of Guatemalan history. Beyond visiting Xela(go see the theater), be sure to spend some time looking around the hotel. An onsight restaurant provides a wonderful breakfast, a European-Guatemalan lunch adn dinner menu, and a quiet bar.
For tall guests, most of the beds have foot boards so your feet cannot hang over the end of the bed. It's part of the experience.
