Under all kritik – undvik detta "hotell"

Vår vistelse på detta hotell var tyvärr en riktig besvikelse. Rummet var smutsigt, med lakan som hade stora hål, ett trasigt handfat och en dusch täckt av mögel och rost. Vi fick byta rum eftersom AC:n inte fungerade, men det nya rummet hade samma bristande hygien och underhåll. Det kändes mer som ett nedgånget motell än ett hotell.

Hårtorken var som från 1800-talet – den stängde av sig så fort man rörde sig, vilket gjorde den i princip oanvändbar. Vi vågade inte äta frukost på grund av den allmänna bristen på renlighet. Dessutom kunde vi knappt sova eftersom vi kliade sönder oss i sängen, vilket tyder på att även sänghygienen var långt ifrån acceptabel. Vi valde därför att lämna tidigt.

Det enda positiva var att personalen var tillmötesgående och gjorde sitt bästa utifrån omständigheterna. De bytte till exempel de trasiga lakanen när vi bad om det, och hjälpte oss att byta rum.

Trots detta rekommenderas hotellet inte – standarden är långt under vad man rimligen kan förvänta sig.

The breakfast was unfortunately the most disappointing on our 4 weeks here so fa in Europe. Little to choose from and what was there was not good. I would have been happy with decent pastries or even rolls/croissants but that didn’t happen. Cereal wasn’t good.

There was also a strong odor that completely turned us off staying. I think it was some kind of cleaning chemical but whatever it was, was not appealing to stay.

I would not recommend.

The food is below if not barely average. the rooms are cramped and mostly dirty. there is a huge lack of charging ports guests can access. staff is rude and has their own conversations instead of assisting guests. overall very disappointing.

Nagyon kényelmes a matrac, a párna számomra nem volt megfelelő, túl nagy volt a párna! A díszpárnákhoz adnék huzatot, igy használható volna alváshoz is! Tisztaság volt, de egy kicsi csatorna szagot észleltem, szellőztetni nem tudtam! Jól éreztem magam, köszönöm!

Hotel was old and in need of a thorough refit. Our room in the attic was very small and in practical terms made even smaller by the sloping roof, (on one side you had to duck to get into bed). The furniture was very dated. The room was never serviced during our three night stay and so we had to make up our own beds and tidy the room ourselves. Breakfast was from 7.00 to 10.00 but there was little left when we went to the restaurant at 8.30. and the replenishment of food was very slow or non-existent.
The only good thing was the location which is in the centre of Eger and so within very easy reach of the towns' attractions.

Great location, good room for price

Room 11 is in a poor condition. Shower door is rubbish water just spray through and floods the bathroom. Shower itself pretty much unusable, low pressure and poor water head. Window is old has 2 locks 1 doesn’t work and plaster is falling off around it. This room is from. 1980, needs serious maintenance

This is the accommodation you wanna avoid so far. This hotel has been left here from the 70’s without any restoration. I would say it’s clean but I could not be honest with you. Free Wi-Fi but you will use your mobile network. This is a value hotel without any values. 80eur/night. It s much more expensive than than it should be

Good the bucks

Nagyon jó helyen van, központban, ugyanakkor csendes a szoba. Kedves, figyelmes kiszolgálás, tiszta szoba, olyan meleget csinálhattunk, amilyet szeretnénk, ágy tiszta, kényelmes keménységű, de nagyon gyöszös, így a lepedőn keresztül is érezhető volt, pokróccal megoldottuk, így jó volt. Párna nem kényelmes annyira. Zuhanyzófej elérhetetlen magasságban, igy szappantartóra próbáltuk mindig akasztgatni. 😊zuhanyzó wc felöli oldalán az ajtó hiányzott, így wc és környéke tiszta víz lett. Zuhanypolc kicsit rozsdás, amúgy tiszta volt a zuhanyzó, wc-n lehetett pici vizkövesedést látni. Reggelinél töltötték aránylag a tartókat, még gyümölcs, es pelyhek is voltak. Se rántotta, se tükörtojás, és ami igazán nekem rossz volt, hogy nem volt teljeskiörlésű kenyér. Finom teák, és káve volt. Többféle gyümölcslé, fornetti sütik. Kétféle sajt volt zöldségek frissek voltak. Csak fizetős parkoló van a környéken. Szolgáltatás az árhoz képes nagyon jónak látom. Megérte ezekkel az apró hibákkal a hotelt választani.. Jól éreztem magam, visszamennék. 😊

Very convenient for short stay in Eger

We arrived at the reception the stuff was kind maybe, but they dont take too much effort. But then when we arrived to the room, that was terrible. We got the smallest room what I’ve ever seen. It was under the roof, in summer there was horrible heat. Yes they have an A/C but it did not work well, we have one small window but it was not enough. We havent got enough space for nothing, our suitcase was under the table near the bed and that was the whole space we have in room. The bed was from wall to wall, the toilet was right next to shower and wall at the otherside. We have one table with mirror (by the way the only mirror in the room) and there were a tv in front of it. The breakfast was not great not terrible, eggs, sausages, ham, cheese, some fruits and vegetables, cereals and thats it. The location was the only positive thing about this hotel. It really need some reconstruction or have to be cheaper, because for this price you can have a way more better accomodation in Eger.

Good location ! Don't:no elevators, price 3 nights should have been 137 $ and was 155 $.no perking lots, the bathroom no soup,napkins, 3 day no cleaning services (garbage pickup).

Park Hotel Minaret is about 300m from Dobó István Square (Eger's main square). It faces Eger's Minaret (hence its name). My room had twin beds, small refridge, hair dryer, desk, chair, couch, a cathode ray TV and a small balcony overlooking the minaret. The bathroom was clean, with toilet, shower and sink. The WiFi signal was weak, better down in the lobby. Beds were comfortable, and the area very quiet at night. The breakfast buffet offered cereal (2 kinds), yogurt, fresh fruit, freshly baked rolls, cold cuts, cheese, eggs, coffee and tea. I thought that the hotel offered good value for the price of the rooms, considering its location and quiet, comfortable sleep.
