Comfortable stylish stay in excellent surroundings and with excellent food and service throughout.
Pros:

This is very much a beautiful boutique hotel. Love the personality and authenticity of it. Beautifully decorated and furnishing. The staff were amazing and wow the food, quality produce with excellent chefs in house. The rooms were immaculate and have everything you need. I will return.

Excellent and comfortable
Pros:

The bed was comfortable, the shower was brilliant and really powerful. The chef and kitchen/dining staff went to great effort to make sure there was plenty for me to eat with all my allergies.

It is the best hotel I have stayed at for a long time. Would happily stay again.

Cons:

Bed was a little soft for us and the cost of dinner was x2.5 the cost of local establishments. So, wasn’t good value even though excellent food.

Beautiful hotel and a lovely place to stay.
Pros:

Beautifully decorated, very comfortable, friendly staff, delicious food, excellent location. Lovely little touches showed the care that is taken here - such as a jar of gluten free cookies for me because I am a coeliac. So thoughtful and much appreciated.

Perfect hotel for a stay in Alnwick
Pros:

Great location, castle is at the end of the road. Food was amazing and service was excellent. Cookies in room were a really nice touch. Everywhere is walkable.

Pleasant stay in a tastefully converted lovely old property.
Pros:

There was a good choice of breakfast the staff accommodated preference changes good quality food cooked well.Evening meal was of a very good standard. The welcome to the hotel was friendly and thorough. Comfortabe bed. The information on the history of the building and the cookies in the jar were a nice touch.

Cons:

A bit strange that for this grade of hotel there was no one on site after 9.00pm when a full evening menu was offered we had invited local friends to dine with us on the Saturday evening.(who also thought it was odd). Although beautifully decorated with a lovely en-suite the space in the room was a little tight for manouvering round and unpacking. I would ask for a bigger room if we stayed again.

The location is great for exploring Alnwick and has been beautifully designed. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and luxurious.
