The location is great, just 7 min walk from the train station, and a nearby 7eleven.
Check-in is at 5 PM, very late, considering that cleaning is done from 11 AM to 2 PM. Why so much time without being able to enter the room? I arrived at 4:30 PM and had to wait until 5 PM sharp, I don't understand.
The bed is comfortable and they provide towels every day, but the bathroom situation is not good: 2 showers for over 50 beds is not enough. In the morning it's almost impossible to use the bathroom. Regarding the spa, they don't allow tattoos; how about adapting this to foreign tourists? since it's already quite common around japan to accept it in public baths?
They provide food and have a microwave and hot water, but only plastic spoons or chopsticks are available for you to use while eating. When I asked for a bowl and knife from the kitchen to help me with my breakfast, they said they couldnt give it to me, being told it wasn't possible, even though the bar and kitchen inside the hotel was clearly open. They could provide more utensils or dishes for the guests to use. Not all guests can eat with chopsticks.
Lastly, you have to pay after check out to leave your luggage, 800 yen per piece, this should be free for all guests at least until the end of the day. I have been travelling for over 6 months in asia now and i never ever had to pay to keep my luggage until the end of the day of check out!
I wouldnt stay here again. Im sure for the price you pay a night you can find something better.
Sehr schönes neues Haus, alles sauber. Supermarkt direkt daneben.
U-Bahn zwar nicht direkt ums Eck aber auch keine Weltreise.
Die zusätzliche Liftkarte ist umständlich. Wäre einfacher wenn ein Strich oder QR Code am Schlüsselarmband montiert wäre.
The hotel is located in a quiet area near Fukushima Station, making it convenient to access Umeda and other parts of the city by train. While it’s not directly inside the busiest shopping district, transport connections are still very good and there are local restaurants and convenience stores nearby.
The cabin itself is larger than a standard capsule, with enough space to sit up comfortably and organise personal belongings. The sleeping area was clean and well maintained, and amenities such as pyjamas, towels and toiletries were provided. Shared facilities including the public bath, showers and lounge area were also modern and hygienic.
However, there are some typical capsule-hotel drawbacks. Privacy is limited since cabins use curtains or sliding partitions rather than lockable doors, and noise from nearby guests can sometimes be heard. Some travellers have also mentioned firm beds, warm sleeping areas at night, or slightly limited luggage space.
