Pros:

It’s a family owned property and they treat you like family, they went out of there way to get us an island tour and stay longer than we booked. I would go back there and stay, the boat for the tour came to the hotel beach and picked us up really special.

Three nights in Carong Carong.
Pros:

We stayed at Desert Rose for 3 nights in February. It is located in Carong Carong. It is a beach front hotel. The sunset views were amazing. They provided a basic breakfast on a plate served just outside your room. The management and staff were very good especially Nichole. The room itself was small. TV at uncomfortable angle to watch but with many channels.The drapes were not darkening.There was no blanket. All and all a good basic hotel worth staying at if you don’t mind not having the luxury items more expensive hotels have. I would consider the Desert Rose if returning to ElNido.

Pros:

A great stay. Nice location. Quiet. Owners very helpful. Had room 11 on top floor oceanfront view. Really enjoyed my stay.

Good hotel with Great Staff
Pros:

We only had one night here but it was good. The staff were wonderful and the location was convenient to several restaurants and transportation. The beach is not great in front but the beautiful beach is not far. Sunset views are fantastic
