Well located and comfortable small hotel
Pros:

Casa Calfu is ideally situated in a quieter part of Santa Cruz, but walking distance to the centre where there are shops, restaurants, a street market and a superb museum.
The rooms are small, but comfortable, with good sized bathrooms and quiet AC units. The pool area is great, the best we’ve experienced in Chile. The breakfast is excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.

A Lovely Oasis
Pros:

Cancellations to earlier plans in Southern Chile “forced” us to spend 9 days in Santa Cruz. It was wonderful. Casa Calfu is a lovely oasis in the town. Breakfasts were great with fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, pastries, and eggs. The grounds were meticulously kept as was our room. The staff was always friendly and accommodating. We accepted their recommendations and enjoyed three great wine tours and some equally great dinners.

Great, welcoming option in Santa Cruz
Pros:

Great place to stay in Santa Cruz. Walkable to town and restaurants. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Secure parking.

Cons:

Bathroom is a bit of tight quarters - and we had the room right next to reception, the kitchen and eating area. It was fine the first morning… but then there were a couple of families with loud children in the morning

We appreciated the quaint B&B style of this property as well as the friendly staff and relaxing garden area.

Excellent value in a good location, 15 min walk from the exceptional museum and central plaza and grocery stores. Wonderful staff and delicious breakfast. Comfortable poolside table/chairs where we gathered every day in beautiful surroundings.
