Upper Michigan snow storm

We were traveling home from my daughters hockey game. The Roads were totally blocked and very dangerous to travel in our Mini van.

It was pleasant. I was tired after a very long drive and the amenities were greatly appreciated.
Pros:

I felt safe and appreciated the area offered food delivery.

Cons:

There were other guests hanging out in the parking lot (a group of men) that made me feel a little uncomfortable. They were watching me.

Leftover dirty washcloths
Pros:

Location is awesome and the staff were extremely friendly!

Cons:

There were 2 dirty washcloths with hair and whatever nasty stuff left hanging off the shower head and curtain rod. I was disgusted by that and chose to shower when I got back home to Minnesota

Good for a one night stay but priced higher than better hotels.
Pros:

Liked the setup of the room with the sink and vanity separate from the bathroom. Comfortable room for one night.

Cons:

No elevator and we were on the second floor. After a long day of hiking to see waterfalls, it would have been nice not to have to lug our suitcases upstairs.

We will stay here again if we come back this way again.
Pros:

Exceptionally friendly staff. Very clean environment. Helpful. Wonderful breakfast bar in the morning. Many options for all guests. Clean rooms. Sauna, pool, hot tub were all clean and well-maintained.

Cons:

All was perfectly fine.
