Nankanok Bungalow

Nice and quiet location with laundry service, restaurant and spa. The owner was very helpful with getting taxis or whatever you need.

The property is value for money, quiet and has a few nice restaurants/cafes in walking distance with good food quality. Probably the best we had during our Thailand trip as this island is not so commercial. Breakfast was hit and miss. One of the days it was quite bad vs another which was passable, but options are better elsewhere close by. The room was full of spiderwebs up on the roof, but did not bother us, but it may for some. Otherwise it was reasonably clean. There was a mix-up on check in where they could not find our booking despite providing reference number etc, so we spent a good hour or 2 trying to resolve the matter which was very stressful doing this in the outside 'lobby area' without air con and extreme humidity. The booking was then found but no gesture of compensation was offered for the trouble which would have been nice, such as a free breakfast or not charging us for the drinks we consumed in the heat trying to resolve the matter. Friendly staff and walking distance to the beach although the tide was often too low to swim, so it was nice to have the pool to cool off in.

Brilliant place to stay. Delightful food and service nothing is too much trouble. Lovely and clean quick walk to the beach.in a great location

Lovely accommodation staff, competitive scooter rental, simple but clean and well presented rooms. Overall a very very enjoyable stay on this beautiful island.

Geweldig host die alles voor je kan regelen en mee helpen. Tevens een heerlijk restaurant bij de accommodatie. Alleen maar genieten. Mooie locatie vlakbij strand. En kamer was lekker ruim.

The owner and her friends/staff are amazing, they made our stay unforgettable. We had trouble arranging our dive trip and they sorted it out. We eat vegan and gluten free which we never expect to get, but she figured out a recipe for vegan rice soup that was the best breakfast I've had in weeks, and not expensive! I loved this place because it's quiet and very clean. You can easily rent a scooter and there's good massage on site. Look no further, this place will make your holiday on KYN a breeze :)

Amazing!!! If i coukd i will recommend 1000/10, the owner and the manager are awsome and so friendly, the food is great, the room is so big and comfy. The area is quiet and charming. The island is wonderful!! Definitly recommand this place to everyone!

We stayed 3 quiet nights in a bungalow. We liked the location but note that the location indicated on Expedia google maps is incorrect. The location is near Khao Pier on the east side of the island.
One of the best restaurants ‘Sea Gypsy’ is located across the street. It is great value and serves the best breakfast lunch and dinner. Also across the street is Bubbles, a store that sells beer, wine and liquor at better prices than in the city centre shopping area.
This is a great place to enjoy a laid back quiet stay. The staff at the hotel is helpful to arrange tours, bike rentals and taxis to and from the pier.

Nice bungalows, big bed though rather hard. Very friendly host. Good food.
Only thing: not much privacy, bungalows are very close to each other. You have to close the curtains.

Det var ett fantastiskt hotell och så snäll och hjälpsam personal! När vi behövde taxi löste dom alltid det och renlighet osv var också väldigt bra!

Basic accommodation but the whole island is like it. So happy I found this place last minute. The lady running the place was so friendly and helpful. She sorted out bike hire, and while waiting for our pickup she phoned the boat provider if they were on there way.

We stayed 3 nights mid December. One of the few places on the island with an air conditioner in the room. The nights on the island are too warm to be without A/C, even in mid December. We didn't have a chance to eat at the restaurant.
