Pros:

Location is handy.

Cons:

Rooms are tired, its not a bath its a stand in tub too dangerous to use if you want a shower. Pillows are past it.

Really great place centrally located in a lovely little town - recommend it!
Pros:

Very well appointed and decorated. Nice to have a lift in an older property too. Staff really friendly and helpful. Breakfast excellent.

Cons:

Windows in the room quite drafty but they may be limited by what they can do if listed. An additional heater was provided which was a nice touch. Might be helpful if they provided permits for people parking their car.

Pros:

Wir lieben so alte, traditionelle Hotels. Das schöne alte wurde mit Liebe erhalten und restauriert. Dennoch alles sauber und komfortabel. Hervorragendes Frühstück. Sehr freundlich.

Great location let down by lack of sleep.
Pros:

The location is fantastic as I love Kirkby Lonsdale, dining areas are proper old school class.

Cons:

Soundproofing of the room was very poor, as we were located above reception we could hear the banging of the front door every time it was shut this happened throughout the night with people coming and going letting their dogs out. We were offered another room but this was still above reception meaning due to the lack of soundproofing would have had the same issue. Bought earplugs for the second night to try and help.

Beautiful traditional hotel in the heart of picturesque Kirkby Lonsdale.
Pros:

Gorgeous tradition hotel and restaurant with lovely attentive staff. Bang in the centre of Kirkby Lonsdale overlooking market square. The rooms are beautiful and all different. The breakfast is made to order, fresh and delicious. We have stayed here a few times now and always enjoy our stay immensely. Highly recommended!

Cons:

I asked for a latte at breakfast and was told it was an extra charge.

Great location and lovely room with a nice view. Main highlight was the FANTASTIC breakfast!

Slightly noisy with bottle recycling in the morning - but this didn't bother us.

Cons:

We stayed in room 6. Above our room was a little noisy. Creaky floorboards and possibly a water pump above? It didn’t spoil the stay though.
