I liked everything about this place. It's central, the staff were extraordinarily cheerful and helpful, the breakfast was good and the rooms were very comfortable.
Nothing. I really couldn't fault anything about the stay (I suppose the parking could be better, but with a great big pay and display lot just across the road, it was very simple and inexpensive to park).
Friendly staff and a perfect location for the short walk into town with a good choice of bars and restaurants.
The lighting in the room could have been brighter, and a more lightweight duvet would have been better for a warm June evening.
The friendly staff,. Very central for all the tourist spots. The proprietor gave us loads of information including where to eat. The breakfast was great, lovely atmosphere shall definitely book here again.
Perhaps the double bed it was was beautifully presented and clean but a tad small for us two.

Parking was easy and the staff were welcoming and efficient. The location was amazing - walkable to everywhere in the town. Our room on the second floor was immaculately clean and well provided with storage and very comfortable beds. The bathroom was excellent. We slept very well. Breakfast was amazing with huge choice and delicious cooked options. This is an excellent hotel and we will return as soon as possible.

This was a delightful stay. Lovely building, charming staff and breakfast was very nice. My dog enjoyed her stay enormously and was allowed everywhere without fuss which is rare, even in dog-friendly spaces - thank you.

Everything was amazing but the dining room did have a bit of an echo that maybe some soft furnishings could dampen - I'm being extra picky now!
This was our second stay at Abbots Mead. It is in a great location for visiting Shrewsbury. Parking is directly outside. Rooms are comfortable with compact bathrooms. Very nice home cooked breakfast.

Only problem was step by room which I missed forgetting it was there one morning. Would be good to advise guests if they are in rooms with this step level.
