Lovely stay.
Pros:

Lovely welcoming owners. I didn't declare special diet before hand. Was just going to eat what I could and bring my own milk.
The owners already had lactose free milk and sourdough. And knew what Low fodmap is ( which is highly unusual).
Great views across the bay.

Obliging hosts
Pros:

Very friendly and obliging hosts. The room was spacious and had a good view of the sea and opposite coastline. Tea and coffee making facilities with fresh milk daily plus biscuits.

Cons:

The ensuite was very small and would have benefited from having towel rails.

The Shipping Lanes Hotel, Morecambe.
Pros:

I hired the Trafalgar suite complete with balcony, it’s quite possibly the best room at The Shipping Lanes Hotel.

Cons:

No complaints at all.

It was a very comfortable stay and I slept very well in the bed which is quite rare for me when I’m away. guesthouse
Pros:

Good location on sea front and my room was spacious and at the back so no traffic noise. I liked the decor of my room too. It was nice to have fresh milk with the tea making facilities in my room.

Cons:

That they used coffee bags instead of fresh coffee and there could have been a wider choice of hot food at breakfast. Also the water in the shower was scalding hot until I asked them to fix the settings on the tap.

The hotel was wonderful and the hosts were very friendly and helpful.
Pros:

The hotel was so clean! I don't know how Trudi manages to keep it so clean. Communication was great and Trudi and Alan were flexible on arrival times. The hotel has it's own parking which is at the back of the property, although we were lucky enough to grab a spot right in front of the hotel and stayed there for the couple of days of our trip. It is a lovely walk along the prom to get to the centre and only a few minutes walk to a selection of places to eat. We decided to walk to the iconic art-deco Midland hotel for our evening meal.
The breakfast was delicious and the host was quite happy to mix, or add to, the options on the menu. It definately set us up for the day.
We were exceptionally happy as we were upgraded to the room with the Balcony!
We will be going again!
Thank you Trudy and Alan.

It was a lovely guest house. We had a sea view which was great.
Pros:

As nice as everything is there is not a lot to choose from the breakfast cooked menu. But the continental has plenty.

Cons:

The heating didn't come on early enough. But we understand regarding costs of fuel etc completely.
