It was a lovely guest house. We had a sea view which was great.
Pros:

As nice as everything is there is not a lot to choose from the breakfast cooked menu. But the continental has plenty.

Cons:

The heating didn't come on early enough. But we understand regarding costs of fuel etc completely.

Fine, but nothing special.
Pros:

The location was good, on the seafront and on the edge of the main town. The owners were both very nice.

Cons:

It was possible to hear the neighbouring room very clearly. I don't even think they were particularly noisy, but they didn't need to be.

Morecambe is a great place to visit and Shipping Lanes a great place to stop.

Magnificent, the perfect place to enjoy an enjoyable break.
Pros:

Recommended by friends, couldn't fault it, accommodation was great and everything I'd expected from the recommendation. The owners were the perfect hosts, couldn't do enough for you. Breakfasts were fabulous too and set me up for the long days out I was there for. It's not right in the centre, but it was what I'd expected from the clear information that I had seen on the site and from the recommendation too. I also saw it as a positive, as it meant it was a little bit quieter than being in the middle of everything. The walk along to and from the venues I was using was flat and easy to navigate, with the obvious sea views and the promenade to enjoy. Car park round the back was great too, as well as roadside parking out the front of the Hotel on day of departure to make it easy for loading my luggage up.

Cons:

Nothing to dislike at all. It was peaceful, relaxing and offered a warm friendly environment to rest after long and busy days at the events I was attending.

Great Place to stay
Pros:

Trudi & Alan are brilliant hosts and very meticulous in what they do to keep the hotel in top condition.
Breakfast is a brilliant play on an English Breakfast and it works as other guests said as well.
Plenty of parking as the hotel has its own car park as well as being able to park on the street at the front of it (space permitting).

Cons:

The trek up the stairs to the top room but knew about it before we arrived.
Remembering to duck went getting out of bed on the window side.

Breakfast was so good ..filled you up for hour's..I had the single room with a balcony..lovely hearing the sea ....room was so clean ..owners so friendly and couldn't do enough for you

Pros:

Great location, friendly and accommodating hosts, very clean room and comfortable bed. Great choice of fruit at breakfast, lovely porridge. scrambled eggs and smashed avocado also excellent. View from the room was great. Bus stop very close and 755 goes to Kendal and Windermere

A comfortable hotel!
Pros:

The setup of the room and the cleanliness of the hotel were really good. The hosts were welcoming and very friendly too, and you feel at ease to communicate with them! The breakfast was good, and my son really enjoyed the scrambled egg on the muffin with bacon strips! The hosts made sure we were happy throughout our stay. Therefore, we would recommend this hotel !

Cons:

We would have loved at least a full English breakfast on one of the mornings... but everything was well presented and nice. Overall, there was nothing to complain about.

Exceptional stay with stunning views!
Pros:

Just checked out today after spending 2 nights here for the first time in the Irish Sea room. I would highly recommend this room as the views of the beach and mountains are absolutely stunning!

The hotel itself was inviting and clean on arrival, and the room was incredibly clean and comfortable and nicely decorated.

There is a kettle, coffee, tea bags, and biscuits in the room and an iron and ironing board. There is a TV too. There is no fridge in the room, but there is a fridge downstairs where you can help yourself to milk as needed.

The shower was lovely and powerful, with plenty of hot water, and there are shower gels, hand wash etc in the bathroom.

The hosts were really lovely and friendly, and we had a lovely breakfast this morning. There are various hot and cold options to choose from, so something for everyone.

We found it to be extremely good value for money, and we are glad we chose this hotel and would absolutely stay here again in the future.
