This was our first time in Punta Cana. Unfortunately this place has very little maintenance, if any. From what we heard, it’s a fairly new construction, however; the place is in bad shape - the kitchen has door handles missing and broken tiles. The AC and stove did not work. The place also needs painting. The beach in itself is beautiful. We had a great view. Some of the staff were helpful and friendly. However, their office does not open until 10am which makes it very inconvenient to check out before then, especially if you are expecting to get some of your electricity cash deposit back.

Dirty, old, nothing worked, staff takes $20 for AC as a security deposit and claimed to give back money based on how much AC was used but they just took the keys from me and never gave me money back. Don’t come here
First of all is the very first time that I have to pay electricity extra, then the lights inside were to save electricity but you couldn’t illuminate the house properly, the toilet was broken, the showers very bad condition and all in one not the money the ask
Please do not book here! The pictures and descriptions are not at all a true representation of the resort. In fact, the name listed on Expedia isn’t even the actual name of the villages. My wife and I planned and booked this place on Expedia and had our three children with us. Once we arrived at the airport and found our charter driver, we learned that no one there even knew where the resort was located. When we arrived at the actual ‘Los Corales Resort’ we were told we did not have a booking there. We had to walk through that resort then down a dirty alleyway to find the bungalows. The manager (Miguel) didn’t even know we were coming and was surprised to see us. He ended up taking us to a room - it was filthy dirty, the beds were broken, windows were broken, the oven looked like something out of a horror movie, and it simply felt unsafe. The pool is nothing like the photo either. It was very cloudy and there wasn’t a single chair or table around it. We asked for a refund, and after spending 2 hours on the phone with Expedia the manager signed our bill he had and said total refund would be given once his boss comes in (I have that on video). We wanted to get away from that unsafe environment before it got dark, so we booked another resort and called an Uber to take us. End story, Miguel’s boss refused a refund, so we got stuck paying for a place we never stayed in. What an absolute nightmare. Please stay far, far away!!
The pictures they show on here are probably from 10 years ago. Not worth the money. Broken tile, loose baseboards, 2 broken A/C, broken cabinets, broken shower head, couches falling apart, bad internet service. Great location tho.
Promoters took advantage of us by hiking prices for things to do on beach. Room could be a little updated. Stove didn’t work only two eyes.
STAY AWAY! What you see, isn’t what you get. This property was a nightmare.This Condo was suppose to be an accommodation for myself and my girlfriends for a girls trip. Let me start, our flights was delayed on the day of check-in, so we called in advance for assistance with directions and to update that we were running late. Please note it was 9:30pm. When we called, the Receptionist said we were too late, he had to leave and to find another place. He was very rude and had NO! customer service. After a long back and forth and Expedia Reps.stepping in, we arrived at the property and was accepted to check in. While checking in, we discovered we had to pay an additional $10US for electricity per a/c unit in to room and be give the electricity meter reading at the time and be charge per unit that is used at checkout. 👀. It gets worse, he then had to audacity to tell us whenever we use the toilet not to flush the tissue in the toilet, place it in the waste bin. After this excruciatingly painful check-in, he showed us to our rooms and it was the absolute worst. The Condo was extremely tiny with random old pieces of furniture. It was dingy and had this old musty scent. As soon as we saw the room, we ran back down stairs to reception and ask for a refund it was that horrible. Which checking out it was there that we discovered that check-in ran until 11:00pm. 👀We made arrangements at another accommodations and had to pay extra but anything was better than this property.

Cute little ‘cottage’ near the beach with a view of the ocean. The room clearly shows its age, no updates. Lots of hard water build up on shower and faucets. It was clean though, just warn. I loved all the windows and most of them opened so you could get a nice ocean breeze and avoid the AC (also had fans in rooms). Unfortunately, either there were no screens or the screens were inadequate so that meant mosquitos! Also, be warned there is construction going on next door so a bit loud. I loved that there was a water cooler available so no buying bottle water. The pool area didn’t look very nice and only had a few lounge chairs, so I never stayed there. Water was really cloudy. Breakfast was included at a nearby restaurant and was pretty good (5 choices). The office was really hard to find. Not well marked. Staff was super helpful and spoke perfect English. Charge an electricity fee and required a $20 deposit. Hotels.com website didn’t state that, but many hotels in the area do the same. I’m an energy conscience person I opened the windows, unplug everything. I paid $1 for my stay. Pros: good location, ocean view, near beach with beach chairs, breakfast included, discount at restaurant, drinking water available, lots of space, energy conscience. Cons: dated building, no screens on windows means mosquitos, bedding ok, have to pay for electricity and put down deposit
The apartment was nice and situated to have views of ocean and pool. When checked in late 4 people breakfast vouchers they only gave us 2 and in the morning water was shut off and we waited more than two hours never came back on so we had to leave u showered. Property office opens at 10am is a very bad idea. Phone is never answered.
Not even one window can be securely closed in any room. Kind of front desk very hard to find, no sign with name for what we reserved. They charged me equivalent of 20 usd for electricy expense which I was supposed to received back part of it at the check out but front desk was closed the morning we left…. Overall in bad condition and dirty. I am not recommending at all !
The villa was nice and the view was amazing. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.
