Our Apartment is located outside the Palace, in a parallel street.
The Apartment is cleaned twice a week. The days are scheduled at the check-in.
The Apartment does not have an air conditioner, only a radiant floor that heats the Apartment but does not cool it.

The hotel is located in an old palace which has been renovated and repurposed accordingly. The room was impeccable and the views from the rooftop bar are spectacular.
I wish it was a bit more affordable, but the service, room size and comfort and the views were worth the expense.

очень неудобные смесители в санузле, мучение. сам душ тоже неудобный, умывальник и места для косметики мало, хотя само помещение большое. у нас был улучшенный номер на 2м этаже. окна вровень с лестницей, по которой день и ночь ходят туристы, открыть их невозможно : к вам постоянно заглядывают проходя мимо, ночью орали пьяные люди, просыпались. очень мало освещения в комнате. с завтраком тоже переборщили, слишком сложно все, при этом для мужчины может быть не сытно и все долго по времени ожидания еды, особенно если торопишься утром в аэропорт

الغرفة كانت غير نظيفة، خاصةً مع وجود كرسي متسخ ومبلل، ولم تتوفر غرفة بديلة. عند طلب التنظيف، لم تتحسن النظافة. موقع الفندق سيئ للغاية، حيث يقع أمام منطقة مليئة بالقمامة. الحمام بلا دش، والصنبور لا يصل إلى الحرارة المناسبة إلا عند فتحه لأقصى درجة. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، كانت الغرفة تطل على زقاق مزعج طوال اليوم. باختصار، هذه كانت تجربة غير مرضية إطلاقاً، ولا أنصح بالفندق أبداً
The room was not clean, especially with a dirty and wet chair, and no alternative room was available. When we requested cleaning, the cleanliness did not improve. The location is very poor, right in front of an area full of garbage. The bathroom has no shower, and the faucet only gets warm if fully turned to the maximum. The room (Deluxe Baika Room) overlooked a noisy alley all day. In short, it was an unsatisfactory experience, and I would not recommend this hotel at all.
We had the pleasure of staying at the Palacio and cannot recommend it more highly. The location, overlooking the Miradouro de Santa Caterina and the rooftops of Baixa is outstanding. It's at the end of a quiet street (only taxis and other authorized vehicles can pass through). The property retains it's historical character with accuracy and the owner's artwork adds personal charm. Our room was spacious, with an oversized bathroom with soaking tub, luxurious Aesop products and soft satin robes. There's a spectacular (albeit small) pool overlooking the city, a rooftop bar with a panoramic view and several dining choices, which sadly we did not enjoy. But the true jewels of this property are its employees and the warmth which they welcome you. From Joana, the hostess, to Mariana, the front desk receptionist, all made us feel at home. We even received a thank you note from our housekeeper for the tip we left - a first for us!! Prior to our trip, I had agonized over our hotel selection but I'm so happy with our final choice!
Tienen que tener en cuenta que los UBER no entran al área del hotel, traía mucho equipaje y camine 30 minutos y me tardé una hora para llegar. Es mejor tomar Taxi ellos si pueden entrar.
The staff were excellent and the breakfast wonderful. Location great. We stayed in the Apartment 55… beautiful decorated. The associated restaurant SUBA is extra ordinary and world class.
The apartment 55 has a beautiful bathroom with marble and a jacuzzi - HOWEVER, it didn’t work and the water ran tepid by the time it was full. Also, the apartment wasn’t fully equipped with basics such as a bottle opener, water drinking glasses, tea towels. When I alerted the wonderful staff they did bring these items. But the jacuzzi not working and not being fixed during our stay was a huge disappointment. I mentioned it again as I left & got an apology and why have just offered me a 30% discount for me if I stay again. But in truth I won’t be staying again so the 30% is redundant.

Everything was perfect
I stayed overnight on a Hilton Free Nights Award and there is little doubt in my mind that this was the best hotel stay I have ever had. I didn't want to leave the hotel for a minute.
When we arrived, we received a tour of the premises, including the rooftop bar, the outdoor pool and the beautiful common areas. When we got to our room, we were knocked out by the view, the bed, and the complimentary baked goods, champagne and beverages.
We were also told that we were entitled to a complimentary 15 minute massage, which my wife and I had scheduled for later that afternoon. I immediately said to my wife "this might be the best place I've ever stayed out" and she corrected me, saying "it definitely is."
The massage was unbelievably good. My wife paid to extend it and received a very, very good massage for way less than it should have cost. While she was gone, the hotel sent a small birthday cake to our room (quick note: make sure to complete the ore-arrival questionnaire the hotel sends a day or two before arrival to inform it of any special occasions worth celebrating). I also toured the rooftop bar and saw a great view of the city from the 2nd highest vantage point in the city.
We spent an hour at the rooftop pool, which was small but luxurious.
The hotel's main restaurant was closed the night we visited, but the hotel's secondary restaurant was open and delicious.
We slept very, very well on a large bed that may have been king-sized plus.
The next morning we were treated to a five-course breakfast which included fresh-squeezed juice, cappuccino, charcuterie, breakfast breads, yogurt with fruit, an egg dish and a dessert pancake. Again, everything was excellent!
I have read some of the more tepid reviews and cannot stress enough that our experience was amazing. Maybe your mileage may vary, and maybe some of your experience depends on your room (ours was 6.2 and is highly recommended), but I cannot imagine a better hotel stay!
Incredible boutique feel but luxury everywhere. Location is perfect. Breakfast (4 course) is the best I’ve ever had at a hotel. Staff all friendly and helpful. Well worth the price, will go again!
Extraordinary experience at the Verride Palacio Santa Catarina!
We stay in many hotels per year, including some five star rated ones, and this stay was the best of our lives.
The elegant room was impeccably clean, quiet and comfortable with a stunning view from the balcony.
Our massage therapist, Annabella, gave us each the best message we have ever had.
We had dinner at the hotel’s Lisbon Club 55, which was the best Portuguese food we have had.
Miguel greeted us and gave a helpful and informative tour of the Palacio, which is uniquely and beautifully decorated with both modern and classic art.
The five course breakfast on the deck was exquisite. Wish we could have stayed longer, but we definitely plan to return to Lisbon just to stay here again!

Staying here was an utter delight. Everyone at this former palace welcomes you into their kingdom where you feel indulged like former courtesans. Perfectly positioned, the ambience is superb, the food is sublime and the friendliness of all the staff is so welcoming. Our top tip is to indulge in booking a treatment as the therapists are true, true healers with magic in their hands. My husband walked in barely able to stand straight or walk without a limp and yet he came out like a new man and pain free
We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.
