Hotel Puriartha Ubud

Had a double room with balcony and pool view. The room was small but basic, no kettle, fridge or safe facilities. The towels and sheets were clean but had stains on them so they looked old. My pillowcase had dried blood stains.

The pool was a good size but dirty as you can wipe away the grime with your finger. The lounge chairs looked were old and dirty too.

The biggest disappointment was that the rooftop terrace was closed for renovations but there was no work being carried out the whole week I was there and staff could not tell me when or how long it would be shut for. The rooftop terrace was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel as it looked beautiful in the photos and other reviews.

All in all it is very basic and old. The service was good but the staff were limited in what they could do as they said that all of the hotel's managers are based in Jakarta.

This hotel is a case of you get what you pay for. It is a good place for a night in Ubud on a budget.
The staff are very friendly and helpful and the bed comfortable.
Located a 5 minute scooter ride from the Main Street for shopping and the art market, palace etc. well located for supermarket, restaurants and cafes.
Wifi not so good unfortunately, in and out and not the strongest signal

The staff are fantastic however, the whole place needs a good up lift and more facilities in room,(jug ect)

Very very average

I would not recommend nor stay here again. It is on a busy street and there was loud noise from power and AC throughout the evening that made it impossible to sleep. The room was clean but other areas were not. In my room the outlets didn’t work, the bathroom became flooded with any shower use and even had someone open my door at midnight. The pool was dirty and the tiles surrounding were broken and unstable making walking in and around the pool unsafe. The staff were lovely.. but I would not recommend or stay again!

Fantastic service from all staffs! Room was clean and we got the pool access room as requested. Satisfied with the hotel, value for money. Although it is slightly far from the buzz of the city. The issue was that they don’t provide toothbrush, toothpastes and hairdryer for guests in the room.

We stayed for 5 nighst and had a great stay here. The room was spacious, cleaned and modern. All facilities was working well, decent breakfast, and pool was okay.

Good hotel with friendly staff. Took ca:20 min walking to get to the center of Ubud.

Hotel is really good, it has everything you need. It's a bit far from Ubud city centre but you can rent a scooter. Staff was very helpful, room was very large, swimming pool was clean, restaurant meals were good. Strongly recommend it

Stay was good. Pool was being worked on so couldn’t swim and no fridge in the room.

Pros: Comfortable bed in a good, central location that is walking distance to many points of interest. Price is reasonable for the area and hotel is a good value for the money.

Cons: Room is small...so small that toilet is only about 3 feet from the bed and separated from bedroom by a shower curtain. The pool is quite small and there are only 6 pool chairs.

I booked a king bed and got a full-sized bed; king beds cost $20/night more by the way. They wanted me to switch rooms mid-stay, and it took me 4 trips to desk to keep them from doing that. They treated both of these situations as if they were common place and not a big deal, with no real explanation or compensation. TV could get any channels.

Pros: good location within walking distance of monkey forest and art museum. Bed was comfortable. Price was good.

Cons: Booked king bed and got a queen. Had to have 4 seperate conversations with front desk to prevent them from moving me to another room mid stay. Room is very small with just a curtain and 3 feet of space separating toilet from bed. Had tv with no cable.

Thw hotel was clean and instalations nice. It felt a little out of town.

Extremely friendly staff! We slept so well both nights even though heavy traffic street next to hotel. Breakfast was ala carte and bit small but very good according to the very cheap price we paid (37€ per night). I have to special mention the friendly staff at this hotel.

By far best hotel I've ever stayed in Ubud. Hotel has awesome pools and comfort bed. We had a deluxe room over looking the pool absolutely brilliant. Staff here I could not fault and will 100% be booking this hotel next time.
