Your fragrance is torturing people. Do you have any idea how many are fragrance sensitive allergic or just dislike artificial, chemically based fragrances? There is now a class action suit against Marriott and other businesses that use these fragrances.
Just because you may like it, you have no clue how many people react with headaches, nausea, sneezing etc. The hotel is beautiful but I can no longer enter due to your fragrance.

The hotel was beautiful, clean & close to downtown Sarasota making it convenient to walk everywhere. Overall, the hotel was great and the room was specious and clean. We were chosen as guests of the day & they gave us a free bottle of wine which was amazing!

I had an amazing stay, and a huge part of that was thanks to Gaby and Gabriela at the front desk. They are truly exceptional!

From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us with genuine smiles, kindness, and incredible professionalism. They were always happy to help with anything we needed, gave us great recommendations, answered every question with patience, and made us feel at home throughout our stay.

Their positive energy, warmth, and attention to detail made a real difference and turned a great hotel into an unforgettable experience. It’s rare to meet people who care so much about making guests feel welcome, and Gaby and Gabriela do exactly that every single day.

Every time we come to the restaurant, the valet attendants immediately tell us that we have to "take care of them." It feels like they're asking for money upfront, which comes across as rude and unprofessional.
After visiting the rooftop or restaurant several times, I wanted to pay the valet fee at the front desk, but the valet attendant refused and wouldn't let me. Instead, I was told I had to pay the valet attendant directly with $20 cash.
The hotel and the valet need to get on the same page. This system isn't right. There should be a clear and consistent payment process instead of making guests feel like they're being pressured or hustled for cash.

We had an incredible stay at the Art Ovation in Sarasota and can’t recommend it enough. From the moment we arrived, every staff member made us feel welcome, and the service throughout our stay was outstanding.

Ann Marie and the front desk team were friendly, knowledgeable, and full of great Sarasota recommendations. The valet team, especially Adam and the weekend crew, went above and beyond helping with our complimentary beach chairs, umbrella, and towels, while also offering excellent restaurant suggestions. Marline, our housekeeper, was equally exceptional and made our room feel like home.

The hotel itself is fantastic. The rooftop bar is a must, the downtown location is perfect for walking to shops and restaurants, and the complimentary shuttle to places like Lido Beach and St. Armands Circle is such a great perk. This was one of the best Marriott stays we’ve had, and we can’t wait to return.

I had an amazing vacation at this hotel! From the beautiful accommodations to the excellent service, everything was truly first-class. The entire experience was relaxing, elegant, and unforgettable.

This is the best hotel downtown Sarasota due to location , employees and overall vibe . Music at night in lobby and rooftop bar area . Shout out to John one of the shuttle drivers for always being so friendly and professional . Great job !

Stayed 6 nites. Hotel was very nice as was the rooftop pool and bar. On certain evenings, they had live music in the lobby and rooftop bar. Complimentary beach chairs and umbrella a big plus! Location was fantastic. Walk to Bayside, restaurants and bars.
Anna Maria at the front desk is the absolute best ( always smiling and kind and caring).
Valet parking not cheap however the attendants Adam and Tony were fantastic ( they just made it easy for us-even returning the beach chairs and umbrella to the front desk).
Room was your standard room ( nice though and clean). Hard to change TV channels as you have to point remote close to tv and give it a good press. Oh well, can’t have everything. Would definitely stay here again. Once again, all the staff was fantastic!

She greeted us with a genuine smile every time, remembered our preferences, anticipated what we needed before we even asked, and made every meal feel like a special occasion. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and her warmth, professionalism, and infectious personality turned a great vacation into an unforgettable one.

The hotel itself is beautiful, with excellent facilities, delicious food, and a wonderful atmosphere. But it’s people like Vanessa who make guests want to come back. She is an absolute credit to the hotel and deserves to be recognized for the incredible care and hospitality she provides.

Art Ovation is perhaps the premier hotel in the Sarasota city area. The location is second to none and just steps away from performing arts, art galleries, shops, and the best restaurants in Sarasota. Access and transpo to local beaches is provided by the hotel shuttle service as well as beach chairs and towels. It's such a wonderful service! The hotel is beuatifully and uniquely decorated with local art and energizing music. Our room was spotless and appointed with high quality linens and toiletries. The rooftop pool and bar is outstanding, providing panoramic views of Sarasota. Prepare to be greeted and assisted by the kindest staff in Sarasota from the valet, front desk, management up to the pool and restaurant staff. The on-site restaurant is also very high quality whether it be for full menu a la carte breakfast or lunch and dinner. Having stayed at other high end hotels and resorts in the area, none of them provide a higher value experience. It's not even close.

The staff here is amazing! Huge shout outs especially for: Tin, AnaMaria, Sara, Daniel, Chase, Venessa, Rich and Jim!

Jim, John, Rich, and Adam made our stay even more special with their exceptional shuttle service. My wife and I were celebrating our honeymoon, and they helped make the experience truly memorable. Every ride was fast, reliable, convenient, and always on time. Beyond that, they were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional, always greeting us with a smile and making us feel valued as guests. The highlight of the trip was John the shuttle driver took us to Owen’s Fish Camp (which was awesome recommended when we checked in)and picked us up. They need to clone him he is employee of the year.
