Dorsett Residences Bukit Bintang at Dorsett Kuala Lumpur

Firstly the manager on duty today at check out was not very friendly. A few days ago he wouldnt acknowledge a pay pass for breakfast. Communication was not the best. Secondly the manager at the bar on Thursday was very impolite and not friendly. The apartment was okay but they could do better with white nice towels not blue.

Mixed experience - Good location and staff but need improvements - Our stay at this residence unit was mostly as expected, with some positives but also a few issues that need attention.

The good: Great location, is conveniently situated, making it easy to explore the area. Friendly staff, they were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.

Areas for improvement: Uncomfortable beds, the mattresses were very bumpy, and any movement disturbed the other person. And, we found bed bugs. Poor hygiene, the pillows and towels had a strange smell, suggesting they were not properly cleaned, the 2 bedrooms were very hot even we turned on the AC. No AC at the lobby as well, the main door was always wide open, even the lifts were hot.

We hope management takes action to improve these aspects for future guests.

Such a great property in a very convenient location for shopping and dining. The room was large and comfortable. All the staff were professional and helpful especially our Housekeeper Hussin who was so friendly and did such a great job. Breakfast was good. Would recommend to others and would stay here again.

The towels does not smell fresh and clean and the tv does not work

We stayed at the dorsett residences and the apartment were pretty average, nothing like 4 star to be honest.
We booked our breakfast as well during our stay, although the breakfast menu/options were not too bad but the condition of the chair uphostery in the checkers cafe were terrible. I was hesitant to sit on them whenever I used to go there for breakfast. They looked like never been cleaned having layer of dirt and stains all over. Can't expect this from a 3-4 star hotel. Even a road side hawker place may have better chair condition than checkers cafe.
Sincere request to hotel management to atleast keep the chairs clean so that guest can enjoy their breakfast without getting disgusted.

Great location. Apartment was spacious. Breakfast plentiful and lots of choice. Only thing missing was a bedside lamp

The location is awesome if you want to walk around the Kuala Lumpur city within MRT mearby

Location is fantastic ; 5-minutes walk to Pavilion KL mall and 10-minutes walk to TRX mall.

We booked the 2-bedroom (1-Queen + 2-Twin Beds) and was allocated room with bath tub.

Unfortunately, the published room with view of KLCC Twin Towers is no longer valid as the said view has been blocked by other buildings !!

Even the Twin Tower view is blocked at Level 30 (Swimming Pool) ; refer to the attached photos.

Fortunately, we have world class hospitality extended by Mr. Din ; we were offered rooms with City view which were not taken up eventually.

The hot breakfast served is good and wide spread. We like the Malay Nasi Lemak, Chinese porridge, and many … no complaint except we thought it will be good that they swop the food menu daily.

Overall stay experience is good but we will likely next stay at a premise with good night view of the iconic Twin Tower.

The location was very good, close to shopping, easy for Grab pickup. Rooms were very clean, plenty of bottled water supplied.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment which had 2 toilets/baths. The lounge was spacious, kitchen facilities sufficient. Apartment also had an oven and clothes washer/dryer. It is right next to the Dorsett hotel but separate. No reception or office staff in the Residences building other than a security guard so all communication, check in/check etc., out had to be done at the hotel side.
Overall the Dorsett Residences BB is worth its money!

Nice place to stay however housekeeping rings door bell at 10am to come in and clean. Breakfast had a variety of options.
Property is in walking distance to large mall and several eateries.
Overall a nice stay.

excellent accommodation around city

We stayed 8 nights in a 2 Bedroom Premium Suite which was serviced daily by housekeeper Hussin. He was very good, very attentive, checking if everything was ok I was extremely pleased with his service and happy personality.

Our room included 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, one kitchen and one lounge room.
I especially liked the washer/dryer in the suite for my long stay.
All rooms had a city view. The best is the bathroom city view.

Two televisions -nice. Full kitchen, utensils, crockery with microwave and hotplate.

We tried the buffet breakfast RM45 per person. Good selection of all foods, something for everyone.

I took a swim in the pool -so nice. Open 7am-9pm daily.

Location is a few minutes walk to main tourist shopping -Pavillion, Lot 10, Sungei Wang Plaza, Times Square, Lala Port and TRX Exchange.

I would definitely book this hotel again.

Location is fantastic but sewerage problem so bad odour in the apartment specially the bathroom is almost unbearable. Phone in living room is not functioning so can’t connect to reception if in need of help and wifi does not work at all despite changing to another room

Checked in and we had the booked in the residence's which according to the hotel are privately owned suites that are given to the hotel to rent out. As soon as we got there, we realized that the property was quite dirty. With stains on all furniture, dirty bathrooms, and beds that give you a beating all night. Tried calling the front desk with no answer. Stayed one night but will it be back.
Hope fully Expedia can do something about what we paid cause this was not an ok stay.

Property is aged and items are not working well and has sewage stench in the toilet.

From the time we arrived no one there to help u around we were left in the lobby for over half hour with our bags
Our room had no hot water the tv in any rooms didn’t work n the toilet was constantly blocked I hated the stay n the staff will never go bk
