Pros:

The hotel staff are family members with friendly and warm hospitality.
The room was neat and clean, and its balcony is such a plus!!
Although it's located in the center of downtown where lots of local restaurants and street foods are around, it was unbelievably quiet at night. I had really nice sleep during the 3 nights of my stay.
The location is very close to the most of the famous tourist attractions by walk. I enjoyed it very much.
Thank you for giving me a great experience and memory for my first visit to Vietnam.

Cons:

Room is a bit small, and I couldn't open my luggage on the floor.
There is a leak in the shower room after taking the shower. But it's not a big problem.
Everything else is just perfect!

Pros:

Classic building, helpful mangers able to organise travel, taxis etc. Very cool back ally. PS try the Japanese cocktail bar right next door, look closely or you'll miss it

Pros:

Bon emplacement si on souhaite absolument séjourner dans la vieille ville.
Bonne pression eau chaude. Mais absence de ventilation dans la salle d'eau.
Linge de maison propre.
Fait le job si le budget est serré.

Cons:

Aucune remarque n'est accueillie objectivement dans cet hôtel.
La personne à l'accueil semble prendre le client comme exutoire et la querelle comme passe-temps.
À sa décharge, vivre dans la chaotique vieille Hanoi, son désordre, sa pollution extrême, son bruit abrutissant, son manque de place et d'air jusqu'à l'écoeurement, a de quoi fournir quelques troubles psychiques à n'importe quel habitant permanent.

Le ménage n'était pas correct malgré LE discours pénible de la propriétaire à mon arrivée.

Chambre proposée pour une personne avec un lit bien trop grand occupant tout l'espace. Il ne reste qu'une place anormalement petite pour se mouvoir. Y entreposer ses bagages est impossible.
Il y a une chaise pliante, qui lorsqu'on l'utilise soit interdit l'ouverture de la porte d'entrée soit interdit le mouvement dans la chambre !
J'ai dû poser mon sac de voyage sur le lit pendant mon séjour.

Climatisation désagréable direct sur lit. Impossible d'actionner le swing ou de le régler puisque celui-ci a été bloqué.

Mini fenêtre au-dessus de la porte d'entrée qui n'est pas occultée. Lorsque la lumière est actionnée dans le couloir, on reçoit un flash intense directement sur le lit et sur notre tête... réveil violent assuré à chaque fois !

Depuis la chambre au deuxième étage, la fenêtre donne sur un fouillis et sur celles des voisins à 2 mètres qui ont vue sur et dans la chambre. Il faut garder le rideau baissé pour notre intimité. Donc peu de lumière naturelle et difficile d'apercevoir le ciel.

Aucune insonorisation.
Bruit de la famille vivant au rez-de-chaussée, qui remonte par la cage d'escalier.
Porte qui claquent sans retenue. Clients irrespectueux.

Aucune ventilation dans la salle d'eau.
L'eau n'est pas éliminée et la serviette ne sèche pas. L'humidité est bien présente dans la chambre. Le lit en est imprégné.
Mettre une raclette dans la salle d'eau.

市街地から近く観光に便利。スタッフさんも優しかった。
最上階の部屋に泊まらせてもらいましたが、バルコニーがありとてもいいお部屋でした。

La ubicación del alojamiento.

Cons:

Olor a humedad en la habitación, ojalá puedan perfumarlo.
Cierran la persiana durante la noche y tienen que abrirte el recepcionista que está dentro durmiendo. Fue un poco extraño volver tarde y encontrarse con eso.

Quiet and decent stay in the Old Quarter
Pros:

Our stay with Trung Trang Hotel was overall a pleasant experience. The hotel is still located within the Old Quarter, so it’s close to many shops and cafes, though it’s tucked inside a quieter alley which gives a more peaceful vibe away from the busy streets.

The service was okay and the owner was very helpful, especially during our check-out when we had around 45kg of baggage, really appreciated the assistance. The facilities are simple and have a more classic feel, but still comfortable for a short stay.

Overall, a good option if you prefer a quieter spot while still being near the center of Hanoi.

Cons:

Nothing major, just that it’s a bit hidden from the main street, but overall still a good stay.
