Pros:

The towels were nice and the shower was good. Breakfast was nice too

Cons:

There was a stale smell when we got into the room seemed to linger from previous occupant

Bar was nice

Cons:

Restaurant my meal was totally messed up. I ordered a starter that did come. I ordered steak pie and the brought out a steak. Then took about 35 to 40 minutes to bring out the correct meal by this time the rest of the party had finished there meal. Was not happy at all

Lovely passing through on NC500
Pros:

Food lovely.. staff great..location good as a base.

Room quite small.. no seating facilities.

Good location.

Cons:

Couldn't modify breakfast as too much for chef (their words) so you could have added beans but could not remove tomotoes, mushrooms etc. Seems like a lot of wasted food serving items people do not want.

Fair stay in a hotel with excellent location and lovely staff
Pros:

The young receptionist lady was competent and extremely patient with some very difficult people checking in front of us.

Cons:

Thin walls - some guests were very loud near us.

room in separate building across road, room was dated and a little unkempt, woken by house keeper in room, bar closed very early even with football on tv

Pros:

Quiet, nice comfy bed. Good value, good very good. Staff friendly. Little bit tired, lacks homely touches. Few more nice pieces of decoration and soft furnishings.

Cons:

Bit plain and stark, some of the furniture is tired.
