The attention to detail was 100%. The breakfast staff excellent. The conversation great. We had relaxing time
Haven Hall is the best kept secret!! This is our 2nd visit. What a treat ! The location and gardens are superb and our garden room was pristine with such attention to detail - impossible to suggest any improvements , such perfection. The extensive breakfast menu starts the day, ready for a walk along the cliff paths or a swim in the lovely pool, or tennis, or just chill out in the beautiful grounds . Excellent choice of restaurants nearby . A beautiful location and venue.
As well as the friendly faces of David and Arielle, and the imposing automatic gates, we noted the AA 5 star sign as we entered – and it's very hard to imagine anyone giving this hotel any less!
Haven Hall is a very special place. It is absolutely beautiful, with gorgeous views overlooking the sea.
We received such a warm welcome from David, Arielle and the whole staff, who looked after us so well throughout our stay. David gave us excellent recommendations for things to do and places to eat on the island, which really helped us make the most of our weekend.
The pool and tennis court are fantastic, and the views from the grounds are stunning. We particularly loved having a leisurely breakfast outside overlooking the sea, and Arielle’s homemade banana bread is an absolute must try. Have it toasted with cream cheese!
Haven Hall has a very special, peaceful atmosphere and was exactly the relaxing escape we were looking for. We left wishing we could have stayed longer and would happily return.
The beauty of this home, its grounds and sea views are hard to imagine. I felt like I was stepping into a fairy tale. The staff and owners are lovely and welcoming. I’d highly recommend for anyone traveling to the Isle of Wight.
Stunning location, amenities and facilities that exceeded expectations and warm hospitality by David and Arielle
I wish there was lunch and dinner service and I would have left the property
The moment I drove through the gates I started to relax.
I was greeted by David who gave me a tour around this amazing Hotel.
From the immaculate garden swimming pool and tennis court the views from the garden were amazing he then showed me my room which was well presented.
Very soon I realised how quiet it was at Haven Hall.
The ideal environment to relax and unwind.
David and Arielle were readily available if needed and their amazing staff were available to deal with any inquiries.
In fact you get a feeling that you have just walked to a happy family’s home and have become a member of that family.
Not having a restaurant isn’t a negative as David and Arielle have got a comprehensive list of great restaurants for you to visit, which can cater to anyone’s tastes.
If you don’t fancy driving the island has got a good bus service and there is also a taxi service for you to use.
Over all Haven Hall is a jewel of a Hotel to visit and I will definitely be returning when I visit the Island again.
Beautiful and relaxing place carefully decorated with hand chosen antiques and all the modern comforts. The included breakfast was ample, fresh and varied served by very friendly and attentive wait staff. There was lots to do: a tennis court, heated pool and sauna and stunning grounds with many seating options and a croquet set. Attentively managed by the owner-hosts.
A great welcome in super accommodation. The location is in a very quiet area on an elevated position with sublime views, complimented by beautiful gardens.
The host's are very welcoming, offering great tips and advice for dining venues and locations to visit via the best/most scenic routes.
Breakfast is a relaxed affair with a good selection of quality foods on offer. Inside with the air-conditioning or outside on the patio each with views of the sea - we were torn.
The pool area was excellent, clean and well stocked with refreshments.
This Hotel is truly exceptional, the Owners are artists at making you feel very welcome and at home. We felt as if we were personal guests in their home. Absolutely excellent!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
An absolutely wonderful stay at Heaven Hall! The property is luxurious, beautifully maintained, and offers a peaceful retreat with spectacular views.
The highlight of our visit was the exceptional hospitality from the owners. They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to help. Their recommendations for restaurants and local attractions were spot on, and their guidance made our trip around the Isle of Wight so much more enjoyable.
It's rare to find a place that combines such elegance with such genuine, personal service. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay and would highly recommend Heaven Hall to anyone looking for a memorable experience on the Isle of Wight. We can't wait to visit again!
Haven Hall was an amazing experience! David and Arielle were gracious hosts, providing a place of solitude and elegant relaxation! The rooms were beautiful, as was the property, Pool, gazebo, and stunning views of the English Channel! The food they provided for breakfast was outstanding and much of it was prepared by Arielle! The attention to detail was evident throughout our stay and we would highly recommend this charming getaway to anyone looking for English charm combined with pure romantic luxury for an incredible stay!! We would definitely come back from the US again!
Beautiful location on the cliffs with extensive views and walking paths. Friendly proprietors who were genuinely interested in guests. Helpful suggestions of restaurants for lunch and dinner.
Huge thank you to David & Arielle for our wonderful stay at your gorgeous home. It was the perfect peace and relaxation that I craved. The views are breathtaking and I had trouble extracting my family as they simply did not want to leave. We look forward to hopefully returning next year. Thank you again.
Breakfast on the terrace looking over the sea …. Very hard to leave breakfast table ! Short walk down to beach. Beautiful room. Owner very involved and engaged to make it a great stay.
Haven Hall is in the most beautiful setting. The views out to sea from both our room and the grounds are stunning.
The entire site, the grounds, communal areas and bedrooms give a reassuring feel of tranquillity.
The owners are always available but never intrusive and their advice on eateries was invaluable.
Our room was elegant, spotless and cool. Temperatures, being in the high 20's and low 30's throughout our stay, the air conditioning was a life saver.
We shall definitely return.
Haven Hall Hotel truly lives up to its name. It is such a beautiful house, garden and home. The view over the cliffs and sea are idilic and the sea breeze feels like medicine for the soul.
The owners David and Arielle are incredibly hospitable and make you feel at ease. A warm or continental breakfast is available and the staff attend to your every need. I was especially grateful to Tanya and Elliot who took great care of me.
I occupied the penthouse where the views through all windows were beautiful. As an artist, it was a fantastic place to stay - the circular window framed the sea and a balcony with a table and chairs allowed me to paint the view.
The furniture in my apartment was stylish, practical and comfortable. The kitchen had every item you could possibly need, and a utility room with washer, dryer and place to iron was an additional positive asset.
Exquisitely cultivated gardens surround the house with different species of plant ; shapes, colours, and sizes artistically arranged; satisfying the senses. A welcome distraction of a pool, enticed me for a quick dip in between painting.
I would describe Haven Hall as a retreat; a place to escape the hustle and bustle of life. I arrived feeling quite stressed and I left feeling very relaxed. It is such a magical place. A place which eminates positivity and love.
I highly recommend Haven Hall for individuals, couples or families.
The location is utterly stunning, high up on a cliff overlooking the sea, like being in the Mediterranean without the scorching heat, for there is always a gentle breeze, the grounds are also stunning, while the hotel is a very beautiful and spacious Arts and Crafts (1908) building, beautifully furnished. the whole giving a feeling of great serenity and calm. David and Arielle are very welcoming hosts and the staff delightful. Unfortunately, because we had a minor accident with the car on the first night, unhurt, but feeling rather battered (we are in our 80's) we decided to leave a week early, and we thought it enormously kind of David only charge us for the nights we were there.
