我带父母和女儿来怀特岛小住几日，非常幸运赶上了Haven Hall季末关门前最后三个营业日。据说这是岛上最贵的酒店之一。果然没让我们失望，周围环境优美，房间内设施齐全，装修很有品味，可以感受到主人的别具用心。窗外就是无敌海景，早上不用出门就可以看海上日出。这是个个人经营的酒店，主人David热情的迎接了我们，还给我们推荐了热门的餐厅和经典路线。早餐是自助餐，服务员是个来自中国在岛上定居多年的美女，能用中文沟通让我们倍感亲切。 希望明年旺季过来感受一下怀特岛的夏日风情。

Hits 10/10 on all fronts.
Beach location on best part of the Isle of Wight on the best front of beach.
Beautiful sprawling gardens difficult to leave.
Personal tour by hotelier, David, of this multi million pound development.
Beautifully appointed lounges galore.
We guested the penthouse suite with twin aspect views of the sea. Tennis. Pool. Bar. All Superbly appointed. David available at all hours if needed.
Your super options breakfast morning is greeted by David and his super guide knowledge with intricate information of the island, to advise or assist plans for the day.
This imposing development has the charm and eccentricity of Fawlty Towers, with high end specifications of a One and Only hotel.
Think of a Dubai project on British retro steroids. That’s Haven Hall.
We sure plan to return, hopefully many times.

Exactly what we wanted and needed. A five star experience

I oozes class. The hotel and grounds are immaculate. The owner/host was very welcoming and attentive as were his staff. Perfect location for exploring the island. A haven of peace and quiet

Fantastisch!
Pros:

Absolut sensationell. Die Gastgeber sind ausserordentlich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sind komfortabel und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Die Lage ist fantastisch auf der Klippe und in Laufdistanz zu den Stränden.

The view is just gorgeous, the garden and the whole place are so thoughtfully put together. Super clean too—perfect if you like that extra peace of mind. This is a very British boutique hotel where run by owner who revamped the house for 2 years. Unlikely other luxury boutique hotel, this place gives you great sense of British elegance not only in decoration but the lifestyle. And one who truly appreciate such will enjoy the tranquility that the stay brings along.

Mi-a placut totul la acest hotel. Am rezervat din timp si in aceste conditii inclusiv raportul calitate pret a fost echitabil. Zona in care este amplasat hoelul a fost una de poveste! Liniște, aer curat, mâncare bună, vedere frumoasă, personalul amabil.

Pros:

An exceptional stay that starts with a personal welcome from the owner and a tour of the premises. The property overlooks the sea with a view to chalk cliffs to one side. Each morning, the owner spends time at the breakfast table of his guests asking about their plans and advising on options.

A short walk from the main house though the pretty gardens and past the helipad is the swimming pool and sauna.

Our suite was very tastefully decorated and had its own kitchen. My 10 year old son loved sleeping in the living room with its chandelier. The shower and bathroom were also very modern, not always a given in an old house.

Cons:

There is very little not to like. I myself am perfectly satisfied with a Continental breakfast, but it is increasingly expected to offer a few hot dishes as well. Perhaps some pancakes or waffles would not go amiss.

A haven for a short break
Pros:

Superb location. Room was well decorated and suited us well as we had a small garden which was good for the dog. David was a very good host and the restaurants he recommended were excellent. Breakfast was good but hot options would have been appreciated.

Haven Hall is a slice of Paradise overlooking the Sea
Pros:

My wife and I decided to book the best hotel on the island to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary, and we were not disappointed. Haven Hall is perched on the clifftop in Shanklin amongst gorgeous gardens with swimming pool, tennis court and even a helicopter landing site. (We didn’t arrive by helicopter—perhaps for our 50th!?!) We were greeted by the very welcoming owners David and Arielle and shown to the most gorgeous room: the Victoria and Albert on the first floor. It was spacious and very comfortably appointed, from the super-king bed to the chaise longue, both with a sea view. The bathroom featured dual sinks, a step-in shower, and a large tub, also with a glorious sea view. We spent a relaxing afternoon playing cards under the gazebo and lounging by the pool. After a celebratory dinner out, we came back to our room and enjoyed a restful night’s sleep followed by a relaxing breakfast in the charming dining room. In every way, an anniversary to remember courtesy of Haven Hall.

A charming boutique hotel with wonderful owners
Pros:

Incredible hospitality. So surprised to receive a warm welcome from the owner himself when we arrived to the gorgeous property! The room was impeccably clean, spacious and very tastefully furnished! The outdoor grounds are equally beautiful making you feel a twinge of regret anytime you leave Haven Hall to explore the island! Rarely have we stayed at a place where the owners were so kind, welcoming and knowledgeable!
