Pros:

I was so impressed by the manager's communication before my arrival; they even checked to see if I made it safely and reached out to make sure I had everything I needed during my stay. Having visited Destin annually, this was by far the best experience we've had, and we're already planning our next booking. Great beach access, near to dining options and family entertainment!

Pros:

This was our first visit at Pelican Beach Resort. It was definitely a really good experience for me and my wife. We came to celebrate our anniversary and decided we needed to bring our children next time as well. The room was nice and clean and everyone qas friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone no matter what the occasion.

First beach trip in 10 years
Pros:

My wife and I took our 3 children on this trip to Pelican Beach Resort. Our arrival was good. The only down side I had was that 1 of the 4 elevators was down, and we had to wait a bit for a cart to carry our luggage to the room. There is designated parking up front for check in and check out, so that helped. The room and stay were great. We didn't have any trouble with noise, and everything in the room was clean. I did not care for the pullout couch bed, but the other beds were comfortable. The room had plenty of things to cook with, and we did not have to purchase anything for what we did cook. There were public, gas grills, but we did not use them. Access to the beach was extremely nice at only about 5 minutes from our room to our reserved spot on the beach, and half of that time was just getting to the elevator and to the first floor. The beach was nice and clean. My family purchased the reserved seating provided by a third party the resort partners with, so we had front row seats to the beach. The staff on the beach made sure no one put their stuff in front of these seats, so we were able to just enjoy our time on the beach. Checkout was similar to check-in, but we did not have to speak to anyone at the desk since we went through another party. 4 of us had to wear a wrist band the entire time we were at the resort, but my 3 year old was not required to wear one. Overall, I wish I did not have to leave, and I would come back to this resort.

Room was very clean and view was fantastic! The elevator had a maintenance issue that prevented it from working for a couple hours. The place was very crowded - however - it is summer and school is out. Overall - it was a nice stay. We would stay there again - just not during school breaks .

This was the best beach vacation.  The condo was clean and comfortable.  The manager was extremely helpful and checked on us to make sure everything was going good.  The staff were nice and helpful too.  The food and drinks from the tiki bar and cafe were some of the best.  We particularly liked the honey bbq wings.  The sand was white and clean.  We saw dolphins from our condo balcony. This is the perfect place for families with kids.

Wonderful room
Pros:

Only one hot tub open in evening the other one closed early. Very inconvenient.

The room and view were fantastic. Don’t know if we would stay there the pools and hot tub access. Indoor pool wasn’t very big. We used heated outdoor more.
