Very good location and overall excellent.
Pros:

Good reception area. Excellent shower and bathroom area. Good thick towels, two each. Good light weight duvet with excellent pillows. Excellent view from the window. Shampoo, conditioner, soap and hand lotion was excellent. Good side lights each side of the bed. The breakfast was good.

Cons:

The fan was to small for the size of the room. TV was ok but very limited.

Very clean room and comfortable bed, the food was good also, abd a very good location.

Cons:

The bedroom on the second floor was unbearably hot, although they did supply fans and we opened the window, they did not help, but on the ground floor it was cool. Needed air conditioners....

Pleasant old style hotel
Pros:

Really nice breakfast, bathroom was good and room was clean

Cons:

It was during the heatwave so room was very warm, although a free standing fan was provided. Quite noisy on Sat night due to local bar (room 6 is very close to it)

Staff were nice and room was spacious.

Cons:

Location next to pub with outside music until after midnight, our room was right above the outdoor music etc, so maybe worse than some other rooms. Bathroom tap handle broken and beside lamp not working, minor things but worth a mention. It was also very hot but we expected this with the current heatwave. They provided a fan and left us with just a sheet as requested.

Helpful staff and great location
Pros:

We were travelling with bikes and the staff were just so helpful. Not just in helping with the bikes, but with our bags and the parking. Breakfast was great as was the location.

Cons:

just a lot of stairs to our room, but that can't be helped in an old building. they did help carry my bag up.

Staff waited for as we were travelling a long way and didn't arrive until late

The two rooms were well above expectations and very comfortable. Unfortunately, we had to leave early and were unable to try the breakfast!

This was our 4th stay here so that tells you all really
Pros:

Location excellent, staff very friendly. Our room was lovely, very spacious & clean had everything you needed

Cons:

This sounds so trivial would have liked a biscuit on the hostess tray but that’s sad I’m even saying this but that’s the only winge I had just needed to fill the questionnaire box
