Unglaublich netter, hilfreicher aber unaufdringlicher Gastgeber, tolle Terrasse und super Frühstück. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt!

We had a very pleasant stay at Salkım Hotel in Cappadocia. It is a budget-friendly option with a perfect location and one of the most beautiful terraces in the area definitely the highlight of the hotel.

The terrace offers an amazing panoramic view over Göreme and the fairy chimneys. It has two levels with plenty of seating areas and tables, and even though the weather during our stay was not ideal, we could still imagine how beautiful it would be fully set up with carpets and cushions on a sunny day. The view alone is truly breathtaking and easily the strongest point of this hotel.

The room itself was simple, spacious, and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. It is a bit basic and slightly outdated, and while it was generally clean, it felt a little dusty in some areas. That said, it did not affect the comfort of our stay, as everything essential was there a comfortable bed, good shower, and enough space to relax.

Breakfast was another positive surprise. It is à la carte, very fresh, and served directly to the table. You can choose what you like, and everything we tried was fresh and well-prepared.

What really made the stay special was the hospitality. The staff member Yunes was extremely kind and very accommodating throughout our stay. He allowed us to leave our luggage after checkout until our late flight, which we really appreciated. We also loved the little hotel dog, Cloud, who was incredibly friendly and adorable a small detail that made the stay even more memorable.

The location is also very convenient. It is an easy and pleasant walk to Göreme town, and you can quickly reach restaurants, viewpoints, and walking paths from the hotel.

Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money, a stunning terrace view, and very warm hospitality. Despite the simplicity of the rooms, the experience is absolutely worth it, and I would happily stay here again.

We had a wonderful experience at this cave hotel. From the start, Yunus was amazing; his communication was fantastic even before we arrived. The structure is cozy, authentic and welcoming.

​Yunus took care of everything: airport transfers, tours and a magical hot air balloon ride. He even organized an evening BBQ with all the guests which was so much fun! A special mention goes to Bulut, the hotel’s adorable dog, who made our stay even more heartwarming.

​Yunus also gave us great restaurant tips and kindly let us stay at the hotel after check-out to make our departure easier. Thank you for everything: we’ll be back!

Lovely quiet and relaxing location in the higher part of town. Gorgeous terrasses with great views. Excellent breakfast and Yunus was a perfect host and made us feel very welcome 🤗

Прекрасный отель с доброжелательным и приветливым хозяином Юнусом. У отеля удобное расположение, за 10 минут добирались до центра неспешным шагом, обратно подольше, так как в горку. Недалеко от отеля вход на тропу по Долине Голубей. Замечательная терраса для наблюдения за полетом шаров. Потрясающие виды на долины и замок Учхисар.
Номер просторный (номер 201), полное соответствие фотографиям. Хотели спросить про розжиг камина, но так уставали на прогулках, что до него дело не дошло. В номере было тепло, кондиционер для отопления даже не включали. Просторная теплая ванная комната, есть гель для душа, шампунь, тапочки.
Хорошая работа вай-фая.
Что немаловажно для русских туристов - возможность оплаты на месте.
В день отъезда вещи хозяин разрешил оставить на ресепшене, успели погулять до трансфера в аэропорт.
Также при заезде предлагают экскурсии, любой вопрос Юнус готов помочь решить.

extremely kind, helpful, and always available whenever we needed anything. He truly went above
and beyond to make our stay special.
He even took us to several beautiful places around the area and gave us great local
recommendations, which made our trip even more memorable. His hospitality and friendliness
made us feel very welcome from the very first moment.
The room was comfortable and the whole experience was fantastic. We highly recommend Salkim

The breakfast was very good and location was perfect coz it’s just a walking distance to the town.
