Toll, aber der ungepflegte Spa hat den Gesamteindruck deutlich verschlechtert

Das Zimmer war toll, das Personal sehr freundlich, das Frühstück war ebenso toll.

Cons:

Es war an einem Sonntag leider keine Spa Behandlung buchbar, das Restaurant hatte geschlossen und als ich Nachmittags den Sauna Bereich nutzte sah dieser sehr schlimm aus: überall benutzte Gläser, benutzte Handtücher und teilweise liefen Gäste in Straßenschuhen hinein und es war niemand vom Hotel da. Nach ca 90 Minuten hatte ich dann genug und bin gegangen.

Lage und Ausstattung

Cons:

Gute Lage, aber enttäuschender Service und fragwürdiger Umgang mit Gästen

Die Lage des Hotels ist wirklich gut, und grundsätzlich war der Aufenthalt auch in Ordnung. Was allerdings am Abreisetag passiert ist, hinterlässt einen äusserst schlechten Eindruck.

Zunächst musste ich rund 30 Minuten auf mein Fahrzeug warten, welches vom Parkservice aus der Tiefgarage gebracht werden sollte. Wenn dieser Service nicht zuverlässig funktioniert, hole ich mein Auto künftig lieber selbst.

Damit war die Geschichte allerdings noch nicht zu Ende. Der zuständige Mitarbeiter des Parkservices hatte sein privates Mobiltelefon in meinem Fahrzeug vergessen. Auf meiner Rückfahrt von München in die Schweiz versuchte er mich daraufhin unzählige Male telefonisch zu erreichen. Selbstverständlich habe ich mich darum gekümmert, dass er sein Telefon zurückerhält.

Ich habe das Gerät auf eigene Kosten und mit entsprechendem Aufwand versichert nach München zurückgeschickt. Die Versandkosten beliefen sich auf rund CHF 40.–. Der Sendung habe ich ausdrücklich den Hinweis beigelegt, dass ich zumindest die Erstattung dieser Kosten erwarte. Bis heute habe ich jedoch weder eine Rückerstattung noch eine entsprechende Reaktion erhalten.

Dass ein Mitarbeiter sein Telefon im Fahrzeug eines Gastes vergisst, kann passieren. Dass der Gast anschliessend den Aufwand und die Kosten für diesen Fehler tragen muss und keinerlei Entgegenkommen erfährt, ist hingegen eine Frage von Anstand und Verantwortungsbewusstsein. Offenbar ist beides hier nicht selbstverständlich.

Hinzu kommt, dass mein Kollege sein Gepäck am Abreisetag im Hotel zwischenlagern liess, da wir noch gemeinsam Mittagessen gingen. Bei der anschliessenden Abholung waren seine Schuhe plötzlich nicht mehr auffindbar. Was damit passiert ist, bleibt ungeklärt. Auch dieser Vorfall wirft kein gutes Licht auf den Umgang mit dem Eigentum der Gäste.

Fazit: Eine gute Lage allein macht noch kein gutes Hotel aus.

Even though the staff were nice, the property itself is not up to the standard of 5 stars

The valet parking and the health facilities.

Cons:

The hotel is rated 5 stars, but the furniture and facilities are more in line with a 4-star standard. The floor of the elevator was dirty—certainly not what you’d expect from a 5-star establishment. I was charged 377 euros for two nights, and an additional they take 564 euros!!was held as a deposit. I am currently on a tour of Europe, and that amount has yet to be returned; many other hotels typically release such holds within two days now 4 days!!!

Pros:

The staff were lovely - very accommodating, the hotel was beautifully presented and the amenities and food were exceptional. Whilst I visited the city it was difficult to note want to leave the room

Cons:

It is slightly further out from the main city and where everything else is - but considering the hotel itself I wasn't too fussed by that
