Bom hotel na frente do Rio Tâmisa
Localização não é tão boa para pegar metrô..
This hotel does not probably meet the Hyatt Regency standards. We stayed in room 209.
1. The hotel room was not clean - upon check-in, we found dirts on multiple table surfaces and hair in the toilet bowl. (some pictures uploaded except hair!)
2. There were so many flies in the room - we smashed 4 on the first day/night and 5 on the next day/night. (one picture uploaded) Not sure where it came from, but we saw one went into the duct, so, there might be something in the duct.
3. We reported the issue with the flies to the front desk who confirmed that engineer will look into it. Not sure what was done. Problem unresolved and continued.
4. The batroom ventilation was broken and dysfunctional.
5. Breakfast room service - knife, fork, napkin, salt and pepper forgotten, in the first morning. Croissant in the second day breakfast was so dry and tasteless, i.e., not fresh.
6. We reported these issues to the front desk upon check-out. The front desk woman promised she will report them to the management and we should expect to hear from the management in 24 hours. Nobody contacted us; thus, I am reporting the issues here.
7.

Perfectly located hotel- easy walk to underground station but also across the river to Houses of Parliament etc.
Room is small but standard for many hotels in London. AC works really well which is a plus in a heatwave. Nice bathroom-
Overall nice room with some minor signs of aging- only negative is no soft standard Hyatt Regency pillows.
Small lobby - but nice restaurant. Only negative was the lack of minor flexibility on the part of the bar manager during the Globalist happy hour- I wanted her to use a different spirit brand and she refused- I even explained the personal reason why but she was completely inflexible-
Finally I think Hyatt should have branded this hotel a centric of just Hyatt- not in same league as other Hyatt Regency in London.
Location OK but quite a long walk to waterloo
Stayed overnight at Hyatt Regency London - Albert Embankment to attend a conference. On arrival the desk manager told that they would need to take full payment up front plus a £50 deposit. Asked for a receipt/invoice but told that this could only be given on check out. On check out the next morning informed that the invoice would be emailed to me. Had made the booking through Booking.com and when I received the final invoice I was surprised to see that an additional £10.83 service charge had been added to the final bill This extra charge had not been stipulated when booking and the Booking.com listing had made it clear that there were no extra charges. I do not have anything against tipping, but this is my prerogative and the frankly disinterested level of service did not warrant any tip. I emailed hotel to query this and a staff member (RD) sent an email back apologising and stating that the £10.83 would be refunded. However, within 3 minutes of this I received a second, even higher, invoice which now included fictitious minibar charges for £42! Not only this but an additional unauthorised charge of £42 was made to my card in addition to the £50 deposit retained. I did not touch any of the minibar items and it is hard to imagine how this can be anything else but a malicious attempt at defrauding me in retaliation to my disputing the service charge. I have had to make a formal complaint and claim back the £92 which has been taken off my card. Needless to say not even the £10.83 has been refunded as promised and the hotel has informed me that I simply have to wait until they have finished their in house "investigation" before they can reverse any incorrect charges "if required". No timescale give. Absolutely outrageous behaviour by staff who appear to be protecting their own and behave more like disinterested civil servants than employees of an international luxury hotel chain.

Not near tube station
Restaurant
Signs/tags on the doors barely readable especially in the basement with poor lighting and doors painted black. Better color contrasts between door, tag plates, and letters recommended.
