The staff were terrific. We were there during the snowstorm; some staff had to stay overnight. Despite the circumstances, they were gracious, friendly, and a credit to the hotel and Pittsburgh as a whole.
Location
Noise from the road during night
Location was great.
Staff was nice.
Hotel was clean.
We had no air-conditioning on a 95-degree day. They were sold out, so they could not move us.
The food was good and reasonably priced. the staff was very personable and and professional.
The outside traffic noise was unbearable. We were there two times. The first time and the last time. My wife and I stayed at other hotels over the years, but none as loud and noisy as your place. It was like trying to sleep at the Daytona 500 while the race was being run. The part that we found funny, was the hotel supplies ear plugs, We will never stay or recommend your hotel to anyone we know .
Everything
Absolutely nothing
Convenient to U Pitt, felt homey, nicely decorated, big room, modern room and bathroom.
Next to highway and our room heard spit of traffic noise. Appreciated the ear plugs but there needs to be a white noise machine to block it out.
The breakfast was really nice! The staff were friendly, except the breakfast area.
We booked a room for 4 people, but somehow the breakfast was only for two people. The two queen type rooms are all on the side of the highway, very noisy, hard to sleep.
Location
The first thing was the price, it was way overpriced. And it was $22.00 a night to park your car. There was no free breakfast, especially for that price, there should have been. The rooms smelled too much of bleach. They were very noisy rooms. (Cars outside)They even give you earplugs, so you can sleep. And the bed's we're a very uncomfortable, me and my wife feel like someone beat us up. We'll go somewhere else next time, Never again will we stay there. And there was no microwave in the room. You just expect certain things from a high priced hotel. But you get none of that here.
Shuttle service n driver Chris was awesome
Food particles on the desk chair upon check in....
The ambiance, the hotel itself was great. Spacious rooms, great views and decor in the room.
The two days I paid for breakfast in the restaurant, my guest and I never got served. For two days we sat in the restaurant, waited for more than 30 minutes to be addressed by wait staff. And once the order was placed, we still wait for more than an hour to be served. But we didn't because we eventually got up and left. We came back Sunday and the same wait staff, same incident. Two families had come into the restaurant AFTER my guest and I and were still served before us. I'd hate to think it was a race issue, the wait staff was not black, my guest and I are, and the families that were served prior to us on both days were Caucasian. In reality I'd like a refund for the breakfast portion of the stay, otherwise everything else was great
