Very basic.

I did not got the room which I booked. And the rooms are totally different from pictures. Dirty as hell

日本人です。3泊しました。少し奥まったところにホテルがあり、最初は少しわかりにくいですが、通りに面していないだけあって静かです。それでいてタメル地区の中心部にホテルがあるため、観光やショッピングには最適です。ただ、施設の清潔感はいまいちです。神経質な方は避けた方が良いかもしれません。シーツや枕の清潔感に不安を感じるため、下に敷けるバスタオルのようなものがあると安心して寝られるかもしれません。シャワーについては水とお湯の２つのコックがあり、お湯の方を少々長めに水を出していると少々ぬるい水が出せます。冷水と思うとマシです。ホテルのWi-Fiは入り口の掲示板にパスワードが書かれており、階層ごとにルーターが分かれています。一時的にWi-Fiがつながらないタイミングがありましたが、スタッフの方にお話ししたところ真摯に対応いただきすぐに解決できました。清潔感に少々難がありますが、立地や必要最低限の設備が備わっており、かなり安い値段でこの感じなら及第点でしょう。
ただ、洗濯物を洗えるランドリーが欲しかったです。またサービスはほとんどないので、その辺も気にされない方は良いかと思います。
Google マップの口コミほどひどいとは思いませんでした。

I was given a smaller room than I paid for….. complained so second day I was moved to larger room, window missing in the toilet and 6 inches from toilet to the wall, difficult to sit on, pictures online are misleading

I'm giving the location 5 stars because it's in the middle of Thamel, which is the tourist centre in a way. But hindsight, I do prefer to stay away from this centre most of the time. But that's a topic on its own. The positive part of the location is that's it at the end of an alley, so it's quite calm. However it can happen that someone in the hallway is banging on your neighbours door at 7 am, unable to wake them up... Very annoying! It's a budget hotel, that's for sure. But 1. the lock on the door gives you 0 sense of security 2. The sheets and walls are very stained 3. The floor is deteriorating 4. The mattresses are truly HORRIBLE! The bathroom is basic but felt clean. Staff is helpful but sticks to the basics. That's ok.

Bad Experience in my whole life. there was no slippers in the room and room was smelling to. There is no WiFi facility in the mid of night.
Please hotel nomad you have to care Abt this things. Thank you and I hope other peoples will not suffer from that type of situation .

Staff were very polite

The worst experience ever, the hotel is infested with insects, I reached late so I slept and closed the toilet door, when I woke up, I opened the door and hives of insects flied all over the place, I called room service they said they would call pest control then the receptionist offered to give me another room, I stayed there for one night, I found a bug bite in the morning, I didn't know what it was, then the next morning I woke up with so many itchy bites all over my body! I told the receptionist but they did nothing and I had to leave losing the money I paid for the rest of the nights I paid and above all, they had the audacity to ask me for extra money for washing my clothes, which I did pay and left!! Worst place ever, do not even think of booking there if you plan on having a safe and nice trip!

This is my third time in this hotel.They respond very well nicely and humble.This place is in the center Al thamel where all the tourists attractions are near by.If you are planning to stay at thamel with better deal combined with good facilities choose this property.

Extremely dirty hotel,everything falling apart,currently this hotel doesn’t meet safety and hotel management standard…this hotel need close asap before more customers keep suffering.absolutely outrageous

The rooms were not how the pictures were like at all. I know the pictures shown will not be 100% same yes but having stain on the bed on the walls and just overall dusty is not it. Just find some place else l. Such a bad experience .

When I tell y'all that we were scammed, WE WERE SCAMMED!! we were promised a 3BHK for one night here and put a deposit down 2 WEEKS earlier and then we were put in a 2BHK due to their management issues. They didn't even think to inform us about this issue as when we had called to just reconfirm our stay it is THEN only it come to their mind to tell us that the apartment we were supposed to stay in was not available as the previous customers have took the key and left so there was nothing they can do. We had informed them that we would be there at 4pm and we had called them at 1:30pm to reconfirm. This just left me baffled as this issue really did not cross their mind ONCE and they didn't even have the courtesy to even text.
So the guy we talked to on the phone was not there (the manager) there was a lady there and we had asked her about what was going on with the 3BHK we had booked weeks ago (there is only one 3BHK in this place) AND here is where we find out that the people staying in the 3BHK were staying there long-term. Again we were left baffled as we just GOT LIED TO DUE TO POOR MANAGEMENT ISSUES AND PROBLEMS IN THEIR SIDE NOT THE CUSTOMERS. We had NO BACKUP PLAN since we had made a deposit already 2 weeks already and on top of that it was a Friday so there were no other place would be available.
There were Stains all over the bed sheets and when we complained about it then they have the audacity to say that they were just chemicals from ironing like that was any better. So the price of 3BHK was Rs .7,500 for a night. When we got downgraded instead of charging us the price for the 2BHK which is 6,500 they charged us 7,000 almost the full price when causing us such inconvenience and lying to us on top of that.
To summarize this experience has left me angered, disappointed, annoyed, irritated and sad. This was such a bad experience I would not even wish this upon my worst enemy. It SUCKED. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONEEEE!!!!

Good and quiet neighborhood!

Good place to stay in thamel Kathmandu with low cost.Value for money.Basically shopping for local stuffs and trekking related equipment are near to the hotel.Most popular attraction of Kathmandu is in walkable distance from this hotel.RECOMMENDED.

My stay at Kathmandu Nomad Hotel has been excellent. I am not too sure how long I've stayed in the end, but I believe it has been 2 months in total.

I've been hosted well by the friendly staff and especially Ishwor has been one to check in on me from time to time. Since I stayed for so long, the cleaning of the room was done upon request by me, not always did I have a feeling it was cleaned well afterwards; but truth be told, the hospitality outweighed this a lot more for me. The room was big with a large window and a private bathroom.

At night it can be a little noisy since it is in the heart of Thamel, at a back alley of Narsingh Chok. Narsingh Chok is close to where a lot of bars and such are; however, if you're going to be staying anywhere in Thamel, it will be noisy anyway. For sensitive ears I'd recommend just to bring some ear plugs and you'll be fine.

I can recommend Kathmandu Nomad Hotel for a temporarily stay like mine.

Please don't book this hotel. I am from Nepal and it is shame to see this hotel listed on Expedia. bathroom and room have mold everywhere, no ac very dirty linen and towels. I got sick.

The hotel is very clean, good located at Tamel area. with friendly and supporting staff, Prices are reasonable. Will book it again next time when I come, and I would like to recommend it for other travelers
