Requested a top floor when i booked several weeks prior only to find out on check in. receptionist had no idea. Dint think it was even on the screen.. car park is getting a little steep.

It was very good
Pros:

We asked for a room with a view and we got an exceptional view of Southbank and Docklands.
The bed was very comfortable and the room was huge. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.
We had late dinner in the hotel restaurant and it was also magnificent.

Cons:

Staff at the desk forgot to validate our parking ticket which caused some confusion when we had to organise a parking refund and we found the buffet breakfast a little expensive.

Enjoyalble, comfortable, but caught by the small print.

Location and hotel facilities.

Cons:

We were 2 adults and a 9 year old child. When booking the room it included the statement that "your child stays free". In the small print it added "in existing bedding". When we queried where the rollaway bed was we were advised that this would cost an additional $60. The staff blamed the 3rd party booking provider for not disclosing the existing bedding statement clearly, but it shared the detail in the same way as the hotel does on their own website. This detracted from what was a enjoyable and comfortable stay.
