Great hotel, great location.
Pros:

Everything! Great neighborhood, great for our pets and staff is excellent.

Cons:

Menu at the restaurant bar was pretty limited, but the location was great and there were a lot of good restaurants in walking distance.

They only want your money
Pros:

I got there and thought this is a nice looking hotel - there were tornado warnings roughly 7pm - the TV went out, I get it...they "had someone getting it reset" a short time later the storm blew over & still at MIDNIGHT when I called down the girl was acting like I asked for a kidney when I wanted the tv to work - no apologies just attitude and she literally said what do you think I am supposed to do about it (well you work there how about 5 hours ago get someone on it)- she said maintenance left for the day and she didn't know anything about it - My entire stay no tv and she said she'd have the manager call me today - NO CALL - This morning when I left STILL NO TV - the shower is horrible I can pee harder, the place is kind of beat up and there is no parking unless you pay a fortune for valet or the same price for self parking in a town where that just shouldn't be RIP OFF- they could have a good thing but no one takes care of it and when something goes wrong no one cares

Just ok
Pros:

I was close to my event.

Cons:

I was charged two deposits. My credit card is overdrawn. $800 hold for a $400 stay is ridiculous. I did not order any extras only the room.

Nice location, upscale facilities, but beware of Booking.com.
Pros:

The location in the Brickell district was perfect for both mid-day and late night walks. The hotel had nice facilities with an upscale trend. The location is also near the streetcar which provides easy access to other areas of the City.

Cons:

The hotel informed us, when trying to check in, that our booking was only for one night instead of two nights as had been prepaid through Booking.com. The staff was quite rude throughout the ordeal, but it didn't help when a Booking.com agent hung up on one of the staff members - this lead to retaliation against us, the paying customers. The entire ordeal took three hours to resolve and we weren't in a room until after midnight. This might very well be the last time I used Booking.com as there was never a solution provided after spending multiple hours on the phone.

Front desk worker is one of the worst human beings I’ve ever encountered in the service industry
Pros:

The woman at the front desk is one of the most horrible people I’ve ever encountered. She stomped around that hotel screaming at anyone who happen to be in the lobby, adults and children alike. Looking to draw anyone that even dared to look in her vicinity into a confrontation, cursing and yelling at anyone standing or even just walking into the lobby. Everyone was scared to even walk through the lobby. Using the stairs instead of the elevator (even those staying on higher floors. They’d go to the second floor and then walk over to the elevator on the second floor) to not have to walk in front of her to get to the elevator or searching for alternate exterior doors to try to come in to try to avoid walking through the lobby having to endure an encounter with her. We have story after story of aggressive and threatening encounters with this woman (who refused to wear a name tag or tell anyone her name so we couldn’t report her but she is easily identified by her very distinct nose and facial piercings). We have stayed at this hotel for a few years. Last year we had the same experiences but they were escalated for sure this year. The bartenders told us it wasn’t us, that unfortunately this is her normal and how she treats everyone so don’t take it personally. They also assured us that we were actually quieter and tamer than most groups and didn’t deserve the disrespect and aggressive behavior she was giving us.

Great cozy room! New Years Eve stay
Pros:

I like that it’s not too busy on the area but is still close to everything.

Cons:

The doors/walls are thin so you can hear people in the hallway.

Good place, good location
Pros:

Location, breakfast, value

Cons:

Cleanliness wasn’t up to par, poor quality on some of the materials and finishes maybe due to poor upkeep.
